🚨 Highway Toll Scam Alert – Massive Irregularity in FASTag Deductions!

I want to raise awareness about a serious case of toll fraud I recently experienced on the KMP Expressway (Palwal to Kundli). I was charged ₹280 for a private car (Vehicle: UP80EE****), which is highly inflated and unjustified considering the standard toll rate for this route.

⚠️ Major Issues Observed:

🚧 The road condition was pathetic – deep potholes, broken stretches, and unsafe lanes.

💸 Toll amount was exaggerated, with no transparency or visible rate board at the toll plaza.

❌ There is no functioning complaint system — public portals and grievance links of NHAI/IHMCL/NPCL are often non-responsive or fail to submit.

🧾 No proper receipt or breakdown was provided for the toll amount.

🚫 This feels like a systematic loot disguised as toll collection.

We already pay massive taxes as citizens. It's shameful that we are further exploited with unfair highway tolls and zero accountability from the operators. This malpractice seems to be happening at multiple toll plazas, as many users have started reporting similar overcharges across India.

🔍 There needs to be:

Immediate audit of toll plaza charges and system logs

Independent toll oversight body

Fastag transaction transparency

Compensation for affected travelers
