My name is harshad dhangare.

I hereby want to submit a complaint against tez a google payment platform which enables fund transactions, payment of electricity bills and other bills. Tez used bharat bill pay.

On 28 of may 2018 i paid for an electricity bill of rupees rs. 2430 for sndl the electricity board which got failed. Generally while using other payment platforms the amount is credited within an hour or at max a day. I waited for 24 hours for my payment to credit back to me but the amount did not got credited to me.

On contacting tez team they ask me to wait for three days and assured me that the amount will be credited back. The amount did not credited back to me even after 3 days. I opened and dispute on their platform and immediately next day it was shown that the dispute was resolved even when the amount was not credited back to me.

On contacting tez, they apologized for the this mistake and again given assurance. They asked me to submit my account statements to confirm that no amount was credited back to me. On the 31st of may 2018 i submitted my account statement to tez through mail which i have record of submission. They said that their team is working on the issue and they ask me to wait for 7 days.

Today it's almost 20 days and i am yet to receive my amount back. This is customer harassment of a consumer. A consumer like me is discouraged to use online platform and digital platforms because of such lack of customer service.

I contacted them numerous number of time and every representative of that has only asked me to wait for 3 days or 7 days and only one thing they had to say is that they have taken up the matter and it is being handled by their specialist team. Even after 20 days i am yet to receive my refund.

One of their suggested me to ask to contact my bank and sndl the electricity board. Iif i had to go manually personally for my bill payment or anything else why would i used platform like this. While using other payment platforms the amount is credited back within an hour or at max a day.

I am genuinely discouraged aggrieved by all this and and this shows the failure of of customer service on the part of tez. The transaction which i did was with faith on tez that even if the transaction was failed the amount would be credited back to me but it did not happen. This is a complete failure on the part of the google and the service they are providing.

I waited for 20 days now for my payment to refund back to me. I am hereby attaching the payment proof screenshot which includes my google transaction id. Upi transaction id and everything else.

This is very discouraging for consumers and customers where we are expecting to go into a digital india and such lack of consumer issue readdresal is in practice. It is humble request on my part to look into the matter and taking necessary actions and credit back the amount which is yet to be credited to me
