Nestaway Technologies — invalid charges and harassment. | |||
It has been 4 months i have shifted to nestaway managed house. First of all it is not a managed property. The tenants are pushed to the property and are left at their own. From the day one i have been handed over the house i have been facing issues in terms of invalid charges and also with the maintenance of the property. 1. When they showed me the house they said they would fix all the electricals and painting and then hand over the house to me. But shockingly when all the payment process got completed and i came to take the handover the house - it was the same which was shown to me on that day. When i asked why the painting is not been done? Reply - sir if you want the painting then we will do it but we will charge you. For what?? The house should be handed over to me with all the things fixed. The electrical lights and bulbs were broken and they asked me to raise the ticket and fix it. For this again i had to run behind them for a week to get it fixed. (Sc_01390075 and sc_[protected] there was a small structural damage which they told they will fix it and asked to raise ticket from my end which they would do it with their cost. It has been 4 months no body came to attend it. Infact i got a call from nestaway (Person name - abhijit) that they are cancelling the ticket and raise a fresh ticket it has been more than 20 days not a single call or no person came to attend the same. Called the customer care - they asked me to follow up with the guy - when called no response. 2. I was clearly told by the area manager that for the garbage the tenants need to co-ordinate themselves and pay a nominal charge to the garbage collector of around rs. 30-40/month/house. I have been paying to the garbage collector money every month of around 50rs and personally handing over the garbage to them. Infact getting it cleaned from the property itself. So suddenly my dashboard reflects charges of rs. 187 and rs. 200 stating it is the charge for garbage collection. They stated me that they pay the bbmp collector to clear of the garbage from the building. Nestaway not a single day has been providing this service to us. For the whole building each and every family is handing over the garbage and even paying nominal amount to the collector. So where is the role of nestaway in this? Infact they charged me double the amount of the rest of the families residing before me. When i questioned them then suddenly the charges becomes less. One of the false and forceful charge been charged to me. Even i have got a written mail from nestaway that the tenants need to take care and hand over garbage to bbmp collector. When i raise the tickets they forcefully close it from their backend and left unattended. (Sc_01628939, and sc_[protected] 3. The building is facing a water crisis as the boring water dosen't function due to the level of water has gone down. When been asked they say owner is not ready to do anything. The size of the water storage is so small and in that total of 6 families are been utilizing the water. Weekly 2 days cauvery water is supplied. And sometimes we get the tanker from nestaway. On september 12 i paid the full amount of the water charges that was raised to me till august. Suddenly at the end of september they raise a water charges of tanker of rs. 1062 and rs. 944 stating that it is the past due. I clearly mentioned them and told them that i have paid off all the bills till august. But suddenly with a new excuse they tell me that it is charges for august and september as well. They try to close the ticket every time i question them (Sc_01703634, sc_[protected]. Infact i asked them to provide me the details and the dates they have provided us the tanker. They give me a explanation stating the amount charged for each month - whereas i asked them the particular dates they have been providing the tankers. Shockingly they said they do not track the date of supply. What? Then how do they calculate the charges? When i tried asking them they closed the ticket from their backend every-time. We sometimes get the tanker personally and pay the tanker around 800rs. But nestaway stated me that they pay[protected]rs for the water tanker. The water tanker that we get is the smaller one which normally been charged 800-1200 depending on the session. But the charges which nestaway is impounding us is the double the charges and for the bigger tankers. (Even the underground tank dosen't have that much capacity). Also nestaway told me that they not make a penny from the tanker charges. Then why the charges become double and why they do not have tracking for the tankers. Then whom they are paying the amount to? And why should we paying for the problem which is not been fixed by the nestaway and the owner.? 4. All the families from the building went to the nestaway office stating the invalid charges they are putting on us. They said they will remove it and in fact they will take care of the issues in the building. The underground and the over head tanks were totally filled with dirt. So much dirt that the water which we were using on daily basis was completely mud. They had given us in written that they would fix this and even they would put a cover on the upper tank which was missing. It has been more than one and half months and even after follow up they ignored us. Ultimately all the tenants in the building had to do it from their end. When i questioned the nestaway people they told me if i am not happy then i can vacate the house. This is the language they speak to me when i tried to reach them, but they are not ready to resolve the issues that we have been going through. Was this information helpful? | |||
