Nestaway Technologies — NestAway not returning my tenant's rent deposit | |
Hello I am the owner of apartment P6-202 in SNN Raj Serenity, Begur Road, Bangalore. I had engaged the services of NestAway to find tenants and provide property management support. My previous tenant vacated the apartment in July 2020. As per the agreement with NestAway, they are supposed to conduct move out inspection and report to me any damages to the property so that the charges for the damages may be deducted from the deposit to the moving out tenant. However NestAway never produced a move out inspection report to me until recently (about a month ago) after I persistently followed up with them several times in the past 8 months. Even now it is not clear whether my tenant will receive any part of the deposit back as the move out inspection/repair charges invoice seems to indicate there will be no amount due to be paid to my ex-tenant. My ex-tenant is communicating with me for update on the return of deposit while NestAway is not giving any response. So my simple ask are : 1) How much deposit amount needs to be returned to my Ex-Tenant? 2) Can I pay that directly to my Ex-Tenant? 3) Will I owe anything to NestAway? If yes then how much and why?
