    I was a tenant of Nestaway. After I left their flat, they are not returning my security deposit amount of Rs 126000.

    I vacated the flat on 24th February 2021. They were supposed to return the security deposit to me within a week of vacating.

    They also made false statements that the security deposit was with the owner, whereas the owner stated clearly that he doesn't have the security deposit.

    I also raised a ticket with the Nestaway team: https://www.nestaway.com/alpha/care/ticket/CC_08506767

    But they keep on making false promises and are not returning the money.

      I, very rented my apartment with nestaway, as per the policy they should return the apartment in the same condition that I've given them, but nestaway returned the property with complete damage tv Microwave stolen, interior damage, utensils stones, furniture damage, also they have taken the deposit buy not paying us the rent.Nestway should compensate us 25 lakh rupees of compensation for the damage they have done to us.

        I am Rajat Kumar Verma, have moved out of nestaway home in August 2020. Till date I have not received my security deposit as a refund. Have raised multiple requests and called multiple times to area manager and customer service but no any response from any side. No one visited there for inspection in August complete month, neither they called. But called later after three months for inspection. Everything things were fine, nothing was destroyed. I moved out from there how I got at that time. Have taken the snapshot too. They are telling that 14000 charges will be applicable but if I claim then there should not be any charges. Security deposit amount was 27000 and only one month painting charge is one month rent i.e. 9000. In return I should get 18000 rs in return.

        Unable to attach pictures, they are larger in size. Attached 1for example. If required more, then let me know.

        Till date there in no any update.

          I left Jalagam residency 1.5 month back and properly informed. you were supposed take only 1.5 month charge and return my deposit.
          But it is not returned yet an i am getting charged 668 per month for nothing.

          Return my money ASAP

            I reached to nest away team many times regarding my security deposit refund but they are not refunding my security money of Rs 37000/-
            Even I post my complaint in the consumer complain forum also,
            they are not doing any resolutions of my issue. Please take action again them.

              This complaint is for my House ID 62048.
              JayPee PC02-1204 apt In Noida
              Nestaway has not helped in submitting rent (as promised) by 5th of every month. The rent from tenant is pending. Also, the maintenance charges are pending and have accumulated to Rs25000. The check from tenant has bounced. It is really poor support from Nestaway in dealing with this situation. Complaint was registered earlier also and no response has been received yet. Nestaway takes 7.5% commission from rent and no service has been provided. Please take care of this issue as soon as possible. Thanks

                Before we shift to the house, kitchen bulb was not working, house was not at all clean and bathroom water holders was also not working. From our money we repaired all above things and this inspection guy applied those charges in move out. Please return those money to me. Our property manager was not at all supportive and good. We escalate him 2 or 3 times, still no other manager was assigned to us. He always told to raise tickets for repair and all after that he told you need to pay those charges to plumber, etc.
                Please return my money related to common bath health faucet, kitchen light holder and house cleaning charges. Regarding house cleaning you can ask to Security aunt, she cleaned our house and told is how these Nestaway people handover the house to tenants. Regarding plumber you can ask to property manager, he only told to pay money to plumber irrespective of bath faucets was not in working condition before handover the house to us, still we paid those charges. Kitchen bulb also was not working from 1st. I want my money return for these things

                  I was off boarded from Nestaway more than 1 year back when the house owner cancelled the agreement with Nestaway. They initially agreed to pay me back my full deposit of 85, 000 Rs on mail. I have been following up with them for over an year to get the refund. They have not paid me stating dues from house owner etc. The house owner cleared his dues 2 months back but still Nestaway is not responding to calls, mails and the contact people are also not helping. They willfully do not want to pay back my amount.

                    In my absence nestaway allowed people to stay in my flat for months .This was an illegal stay, i was not notified about it. Now all my belongings are missing from the flat. I have lost items worth lakh of rupees. Serious action needs to be taken against the people who gave the house keys to unknown people. Area property manager needs to be questioned.

                    Desired Resolution:
                    I need all my belongings delivered to my hometown as i have left Bangalore or i need nestaway to pay for all my loss.

                          NestAway not returning my tenant's rent deposit

                          Hello
                          I am the owner of apartment P6-202 in SNN Raj Serenity, Begur Road, Bangalore. I had engaged the services of NestAway to find tenants and provide property management support. My previous tenant vacated the apartment in July 2020. As per the agreement with NestAway, they are supposed to conduct move out inspection and report to me any damages to the property so that the charges for the damages may be deducted from the deposit...

                          The company initiated moveout on their own. Owner asked me to leave as property was offboarding. I raised complaints but nobody resolved the issue.

                          Since property was offboarded and no prior notice was given to me, i didn't get the opportunity to serve notice period.

                          Additional and unjustified charges under same heading.

                          Under cleaning, i was charged 2200, 1100.
                          5200 for fridge which was fully functional. the fridge market cost is 9000.

                          They already deducted for notice period from my deposit and additionally charged 4424 under notice period laterthough one month rent is 8500.

                          Since i was not informed to vacate the house. I asked for no notice period charge.

                          On phone and verbally they assured that i will not be charged for notice period but they charged me twice for same.
                          They have taken my deposit and additionally asking for more under notice period charge.

                            Hi,

                            I raised request to move out of my Nestaway House on 15th Feb and did that even early with the help of their area manager. I returned the house key to area manager and paid all bills (water and electricity) to owner as our monthly practice.

                            Still a wrong Moveout report was prepared and I was charged following amount wrongly:
                            1. Nestaway shifted my moveout to 17th Feb without my consent and charged 2 days rent.
                            2. Deducted Electricity and Water Bill amount which i have already paid to owner.

                            Area manager Alok Thakur agrees to this fault from Nestaway end. But even after many service request and calls nestaway has not taken any action on this. Please suggest.

                              My house had been delisted so entering the address as Villa 48 Concorde Cuppertino, Neeladri road, Electronic City Phase 1.
                              It's been 3 months since I vacated the house premises but I haven't yet received my deposit amount. Also lots o[censored]nnecessary charges have been levied like mattress repair and jet spray change (that are absolutely ok) worth 5000. Even after that the remainder amount has not been paid back. Request you to kindly pay me back my hard earned money. Thank You.

                                I have moved out of a Nestaway house on 30 Jan. Inspection was done on 31 jan and the amount was calculated. The property is an IDR (Instant Deposit Return) one. This means that the money is with Nestaway and not the owner. Even after hundreds of follow-ups there is absolutely no response from Nestaway.

                                  Hi,

                                  I had rented an apartment from nestaway and after more than 3 years of stay I moved out of the apartment in Feb 2021. The company owes me a total of 34975 rs post deductions from my security deposit and were supposed to return it in 7-14 days. It has been more than 40 days now and there is no update from nestaway, their customer care is non responsive they do not respond to customer care requests, they do not reply to emails they do not attend phone calls. Please help me in getting my security deposit back.

                                    I am Kiran Kishore a resident of Mahindra Ashvitha- hyderabad from 21st Dec 2020 to 22nd March 2021 (3 months). I paid 16, 000 while boarding as an Security deposit. When I am boarding to that apartment itself sofa, geyser, fridge and washing machine is not in good condition. so area manager told that as nobody is there for long time due to corona scenario, this happened. we will make it rectified, but nobody came. regarding bathroom door locking system, we raised complaint nobody came. I rectified geyser leakage problem due to which its total slippery in bathroom.

                                    My office timing from morning 09.00 am to evening 08.00 pm, Monday to Saturday. I wont be there in that apartment itself. I am only coming there for sleeping and sunday thats all. Now I have moved out of nest away on 22nd March 2021, in which I raised my moved out on 19th February 2021. Now I have moved out as I lost my job. Now I am jobless so I came back to my hometown after discussion with nestaway kukatpally office manager - Mr. Amarnath & nestaway customer care executives. Now I have moved out and Yesterday I got call from nest away executive for inspection. Today I received the full and final settlement after inspection as per that, I have to pay additional amount of Rs.9894.17/- in which nestaway charges 5127.17 for repair and maintenance charges and 6694 for early moved out charges. This is outrageous.
                                    I moved out on 22nd as per discussion with executive on monday and nestaway sent for inspection on 25th march 2021.

                                    I tried to contact nestaway executives from march first week onwards, But I am not getting any response from nestaway executives either in mail or telephones due to this I left from that apartment before the inspection is complete. When I joined this apartment sofas and fridge issue was there. Already my area manager Mr. Amarnath and remaining roommates knows this things as well. as I completed my one month notice period, I need my refund amount back.

                                    Now as I am contacting my area manager Mr. Amarnath and Mr. Bala, they are not even lifting my phone calls as well. I am with nestaway since 2017, you can track my previous details with nestaway using my mobile no : [protected]. all kind of existing problems in this apartments are not my problems/concerns. I need my security deposit after deduction of one month rent back. All kind of repair and maintenance issues are there on the time of my joining itself. I didn't raise any dispute or tickets as on date.

                                    Kindly respond to this mail and do the needful as soon as possible. awaiting for your response.

                                    Concerned issue like :

                                    1. Living room Sofa Repair : Living room sofa repair was there at the time of boarding as well. Please cross check with our old flatmate Mr. Karthik and Nestaway area manager Mr. Amarnath. Monday to Saturday I am not there in that apartment as well. I never used to sit in living room as well.
                                    2. Living Light Holder Repair : Already that problem is rectified at the time of my joining. When I joined this apartment, I bought tubelight and holder as its not working on the time of my boarding.
                                    3. Kitchen Fridge Repair : Kitchen fridge is already cleaned I am using first tray, which is cleaned already. I properly maintain that fridge by defrost and cleaning till now until I left that apartment. there is no issue with fridge.
                                    4. Room Door stopper : When I joined that apartment onwards room door stopper is not there and I didn't raise any tickets for that as well.
                                    5. House cleaning charges : I already cleaned my apartment and left please check with your cleaning guy / our apartment flatmates. Except my room, bathroom and kitchen remaining bedroom are not my area to clean as I am not utilizing that space.
                                    6. Early moved out charges : I have given more than 1 month notice period as well. Informed the same to customer care and area manager. I moved out of this nest away apartment as I lost my job. I didn't find out any other job as well. Day one onwards I am in touch in area manager.
                                    7. Notice Period Charges : I have completed one month and came out of nestaway apartment. I am attaching my notice period details along with this mail.
                                    8. Existing dues : Kindly deduct the existing dues from my security deposit and return back my security deposit.

                                    I am attaching all these for your reference. I am with nestaway since 2017 on that time no issues faced. so that I trust these community. Now I am worried its a fake community in which they try to squeeze our hard earned money by saying some repair/ charges which is not our fault as well. No response from area manager/ property manager.
                                    Now it seems like they are not going to pay my security deposit and additionally I have to pay around 10000 rs for staying 3 months. in which there is no proper support or tickets raised from my end till date. Kindly check this issue and please guide me how to move further.

                                      I have vacated from Nestaway on 8th of Feb 2021. As per their policy i should be getting my security deposit refund within 7 days after the owner has paid the refund to nestaway.

                                      The owner has paid the amount on Feb 24th.
                                      So its been 1 month since nestaway received their payment from the owner, but still they are saying that the amount is not returned by owner. They are not responding to the tickets created or via phone.
