[Resolved] Nestaway Technologies — refund not initiated even after the promise deadline | |||||
I moved in on 8th of december, and my trial period was till 10th of december. I could see in my app that the trial period was still applicable to me and cancellation/notice period will not be charged to me. Before raising the request, i contacted my sales manager (Also my move in manager) and he told me that trial period concept has been discontinued by nestaway 5 months ago and app must be showing wrong information.. I called cust care on monday and they confirmed that trial period concept still exists. They called mr. Vaibhav (My manager) and confirmed that wrong information was conveyed to me. Mr. Vivek from customer care confirmed to me that in lieu of this wrong information, i can go ahead with cancellation and cancellation fee/ notice period fee will not be charged to me. He also promised to send me a mail confirmation (Which i never got). On 13th december, i cancelled the move — out request since i never got the mail confirmation. After that i received a comment on my service reuest that i will not be charged the move-out fee (Pic attached). I called customer care again, and mr. Prasanna confirmed that i can raise cancellation request again and i will still not be charged the extra fee as comment on service reques is enough proof. I raised the request again and moved out on 16th of december. I got the refund but the cancellation and notice period fee was deducted from my deposit amounting to inr.21032! I have been repeatedly calling customer care since a week and they confirmed i will get the rest of the refund by 20th december and i have not received any of it yet! They just keep saying request has been forwarded to concerned team, and i will get a callback or something else but i have not received a single callback form customer care ever! They are not escalating the issue, nor resolving it despite their promises. Now i am taking to other mediums like this, then social media and finally consumer court if all else fails. How can their own manager not know about trial period, dont they train their employees or train them?! They just keep telling me its pending approval, how can it be pending approval if mr. Rakesh already sent the approval that the charges will not be deducted and mr. Vivek and mr. Prasanna confirmed on phone seperately (Calls are recorded)!
