Dear sir,
The pending issues existing in my vehicle nissan sunny xv diesel special edition mh12kj* are:
1. Wheel noise (Existing from the time of purchase from your showroom, a manufacturing defect for which even nissan team had worked on and gave us an assurance)
2. Gear shifting (Existing from the time of purchase from your showroom, a manufacturing defect for which even nissan team had worked on and gave us an assurance) (I. E. Sometime gear gets stuck during gear shift. Pumping and pressing the clutch does not help. This can occur at any time and between any gear)
3. Dicky soft close not working (Incomplete vehicle accident claim work)
4. Paint job not done properly. 2 different color shades used. (Incomplete vehicle accident claim work)
5. Battery unclean and shows liquid oozing out (Seen immediately after servicing the vehicle at shiv nissan recently)
6. Wiper water lid in very bad shape (Seen immediately after servicing the vehicle at shiv nissan recently)
7. Ac - new issue. Didn't exist before. We immediately informed nissan. (Ac sucks outside air even though kept in inner air rotation mode) (Seen immediately after servicing the vehicle at shiv nissan recently)
8. Engine area have unnecessary items such as plastic bag, cloth piece tied, etc
9. Mil shown in cluster area within a 7 days of car servicing at shiv nissan
Majority of the issues have not been resolved and have been piling up. We have not spent lakhs of rupees on nissan for a vehicle with manufacturing defect. If you check the records, you will see that for every issue, my vehicle is kept in the service centre for months be it insurance or servicing. The most annoying part is still when the vehicle is delivered without solving any of the issues and infact with new issues, which did not exist earlier.
We had given the car for servicing just before a long vehicle trip to leh ladakh, which is at high altitude and an area where no nissan centre is present. Inspite of requesting the service centre again and again, the vehicle servicing was not done properly, we were stuck up half way in no man's land with family. The pressure of all tyres was 50 the time of deliver. Engine area had plastic polythene near it. Battery liquid seems to be oozing out. Wiper water lid was in a very bad shape. Still when we somehow managed to reach leh, the vehicle started showing mil. We have been continuously informing mr abhay, at nissan customer care about all the issues.
During our 2nd last servicing at shiv nissan, just before diwali in 2016 we had informed the service advisor about vehicle pulling issue besides the other issues. The service advisor told us that shockupser will have to be changed (Which was a critical issue as we mostly drive on highways). He sent us a message for with cost estimate and approval to start the work. But when we informed them that the vehicle is in extended warranty period, he told us that he would need to take an approval from nissan which takes 2-3 days. We waited and this excuse went on and on. Then after a month, we received a call saying that the vehicle is ready and asked us to come and receive it. Luckily when i just happened to reconfirm whether all problems have been addressed, we found out that they haven't changed the parts. Finally, we complained at the nissan customer care and found out that they had not even raised any such concern about our vehicle and approvals happen very quickly. The explanation which shiv nissan people gave are that it’s quite minor and doesn't need to be changed. Then what exactly were they doing with my vehicle for 1 month?? And this means that parts only need to be changed if vehicle is out of warranty? Wait till your vehicle crosses warranty, emerges into a more critical issue so that they can mint more money. Again in dec 29 we gave the vehicle for car accident claim, and they delivered the vehicle to us in 2nd week of feb, with incomplete work. We wonder if they keep our vehicle at their centre for their own personal use.
Through our experience, we see all this as more of a huge racket by shiv nissan and the nissan company where they purposefully do not solve issues and create new ones so that the moment the vehicle crosses warranty period, they can charge heavily for it as ultimately will be forced to go to them as this is the only service centre of nissan in pune.
We have purchased this vehicle for personal use and not for personal use of shiv nissan service centre.
We are fed up of leaving the vehicle again and again with the service centre shiv nissan with no resolution.
Nissan company seems to be a fraud company, totally not bothered as even after so many instances, they do not take any action against such centres. We bought this vehicle because we thought that nissan is a very genuine company. We have now realised that we are being cheated by nissan.
Hope nissan will take it seriously to resolve the above issue which is a manufacturing defect.
If the company can’t resolve the issue kindly replace the vehicle.
