Nissan Motors — Service center demands payment for improper servicing | |||
My driver observed that my car 'NISSAN MICRA', registration number; OR 02 BW 5300, purchased in the year 2011, was emitting white smoke, while driving. He stopped the car & Immediately informed service center (SC) 'ANANTA NISSAN' Bhubaneswar about the same. The car was toed to the SC for servicing to rectify the problem of white smoke emission. He was asked to pay Rs. 10, 000/- in advance and it was paid. The SC without informing me or my driver, changed the TURBO and told that it would address to the problem of white smoke emission. On inspection of the car by my driver in presence of the SC personnel, he found that despite changing TURBO ( as claimed by the SC) the car continued to emit white smoke! Thus the problem remained unresolved and yet the SC demands Rs. 45, 000/- and insist that it be paid. Car is still in the station. Now I am told that I must pay the amount of Rs. 45, 000/- as the cost of TURBO; give them permission in writing to open the Engine & be ready to pay minimum amount of Rs. 1, 00, 000/-. It is very strange that I am being asked to give in writing that they service my car!! Please look in to the problem & ensure that I am not charged Rs. 45, 000/- for TURBO because it has not resolved the problem and that your SC staff takes the responsibility for fixing the fault and not seek my consent for the same.
