My name is Sajan Mooketh and I am writing this mail to bring to your notice about my service experience with EVM Cars, Nettur, Cochin-682040.
I used to give my sister's car (Nissan Micra Registration No: KL 11 BK 5032) for service at EVM Cars, Nettur, Cochin 682040. I had given the car for its periodic service in September (Date:[protected] and they delivered the car duly after the payment of the service amount.
Later In January[protected] I had given the car for another periodic service and the service manager had recommended to change both rear shock absorbers and radiator fan and also said the extended warranty has got expired because of the earlier service not being recorded as periodic service. So, I must bear the cost for the same out of my pocket and this will cost roughly around Rs 12000/-
Earlier during the September 2020 service, I had been told that oil change is not necessary then and this can be done later in the next service, but they never told me the service will be considered as general service and extended warranty will also break if it has not been recorded as periodic service. This has happened because of the communication problem from the service centre and now I have lost my extended warranty also.
I am pretty much regular for car service and never missed one. The service request form which I received from the service centre in which it is clearly written the type of service is “PS (Periodic Service)”.Yet they marked my service general service.
Please look into the matter ASAP.
