I am G. Vijayakumari. We bought sunny XL with RegNo TN20 CW9824 in April 2013.
Till nov 2021, there was no problem with the car. In the 2nd week of Nov 2021, the car met with an accident and could not be started. After 2 days, the car was taken to ambattur nissan service station, and after checking, they informed that the engine got ceased and new engine has to be replaced.
On suggestion given by the service official, with the assurance that, only on replacement of new engine, car will be working fine, an amount of Rs 2, 20, 000 was paid and the new engine was replaced.
And the car was taken from the service station on 24.12.2021.
Later on, frequently car had starting trouble and also the engine indicator started flashing in the dashboard.
The same was informed to the service official on 12.3.2022 and on suggestion given by him, the car was again taken to service station on 14.3.22.
On checking the car engine, it was informed that some wire has been cut, hence sensor was not proper, and they charged Rs 1099.
The car was taken back from the service station on 21.3.2022.
Again the same problem found on 25.3.22, the car had starting trouble for more than 10 minutes and engine indicator again starting flashing in the dashboard.
This issue was again intimated to the service official on the same day. He said that again car has to be checked and asked to bring the car to the service station.
Why this problem persists after replacing even a new engine.
This shows that new engine replaced would have some issues or the service persons would have not checked it properly.
Huge amount has been paid for engine replacement by us.
We are not satisfied with the service rendered by your service centre.
They are just keeping the car in the service centre, without checking the issue and charging amount for it.
Take necessary action immediately, else matter will be taken up with consumer court.
