[Resolved]  Nobroker — refund delay

I had taken a Super Money Back Plan by paying Rs 11, 798.82/- on 25th Nov 2019 valid for 60 days for letting out my appartment in Bangalore (Order ID [protected] through their Marketing person Shivam K. Of NRI Dept and i was assigned a Relationship Manager Ms Mary Christena. The purpose of taking the plan was that being an NRI i could not be physically present in India to show my flat every time someone wanted to visit.

During the 60 days since i took the Owner Super Money Back Plan, I had some very bad and disappointing experience with my RM
Mary Christena which I conveyed to Nobroker via email to [protected]@nobroker.in on 24th Jan 2020. I believe the concerned Customer Care/ NRI Dept in Nobroker should have through my grievances regarding my RM - Mary Christena and ensure none of the other Nobroker customers feel cheated/disappointed/harassed in future.

In the initial days there were hardly any visits of tenants happening though leads and rejections by RM-Mary Christena appeared in my NoBroker App. Then there were days when no response to my queries came from my RM so the whole purpose of creating a Whatsapp group for close coordination between RM, Field Manager and Me (flat owner) was defeated.

Then there were instances of my RM admitting that she could not reach or contact some tenants prior or post visit. It was a surprise to me that in spite of having Field Manager along with the tenant during flat visit, the RM could not touch base with the interested tenant.Then there was a case where my RM confirmed that a tenant Sandeep was interested in renting my flat but wanted me to talk to him directly. I wondered what the role of a dedicated RM was if i had to do all this on my own. Then the very next day my RM informed that Sandeep was not interested in my flat. Therefore i felt my RM was highly deceiving and unreliable which calls for some serious introspection by the concerned dept head in Nobroker.

Then, 2 days before the Plan expired my RM Mary Christena gave incorrect information regarding a tenant that he was willing to pay Feb month rent but when i spoke to him he denied the same. Even the rent was not as expected, but my RM finally gave me a shocking reply that refund is denied as I only denied her tenant. This is clear harassment of a client, particularly an NRI who cant directly come to your office or meet you to escalate issues. This kind of treatment meted to customers is definitely uncalled for and disappointing. I wish NoBroker Customer team escalates my case to concerned department to ensure that such RMs are not assigned to any customer.

Since the plan validity of 60 days got over by 24th Jan 2020 but my RM Mary Christena could not find me a tenant meeting the criteria agreed at the time of taking the Super Owner Money Back Plan from Nobroker, i requested a refund via a mail dated 24th Jan 2020.

I have shared all details of my experience via mail to [protected]@nobroker.in with evidence of Mary Christena's poor service and harassment in a chronological manner but no feedback yet from Nobroker Customer Care except a ticket #4248672 generated promising to revert with a resolution with 24hrs on the 24th Jan 2020 but 9 days have passed with no resolution or reply. Customer Care of Nobroker has my whatsapp number to call me for a clarification and expedite the refund but so disappointing that no action till date.

How is it professional that Nobroker Refund policy states that if i find a tenant from other source at a rent/deposit lesser that the amount quoted at the time of taking the plan no refund will be made while Nobroker could not find me a tenant matching the agreed rent/deposit within the 60 days validity period but denying a refund??

Looking forward to some professional approach in processing my refund at the earliest from Nobroker.

Finally i got a mail on 14th Feb from [email protected] (20 days after mailing to their customer care) that refund has been initiated for my Super Money Back Plan. Thanks for the action, though delayed but relieved to get back my refund. It is really critical to keep records of communication with RM (mostly on IM like whatsapp) so that the issue can be established with them and if need be used for further legal course. But for this website i'm not sure if just mailing to them would have been sufficient to get my refund. So i would like to thank customercomplaints.in too for providing such a platform where issues can be escalated to the service provider and alert potential customers too.

Pls specify HOW SOON will you get back to me? I got a similar reply by mail on the 24th Jan assuring a response within 24 hrs and 10 days have gone by but no reply. This is really not reasonable. How can you take a customer for ride like this??

Till date there is no update from your customer care team on my complaint that was escalated to you by mail on 24th Jan and on this forum on 02nd Feb again. Please advise how long would you take to resolve this?

It has been 7 days since i posted my complaint here, but no action, no feedback, no refund till date by NoBroker. I feel cheated! Repeated emails to them go unanswered, they dont even care to respond
