Ola Cabs — Poor ola service causes missing of new delhi - mumbai flight | |||||
I was to board new delhi - mumbai jet airways flight 9w 362, from igi terminal t3, on saturday, 30 july. The departure was at 17:45 hr. I was to travel from pals inn, east patel nagar, a distance of 19.6 km to 22.6 km, taking 39 min to 50 min, as per google site. I booked ola cab using app from my mobile, at 15:16 hr - after 10 min the driver of car dl1za2662, after ascertaining the drop point as airport, backed out saying he is 'stuck' in traffic. I immediately booked another ola cab, dl1za2809 at 15:25 hr. After 5 min, ascertaining my drop point, the driver backed out saying his car has 'broken down'. Next i booked, another ola cab, rj05ta1804, at 15:31 hr. He arrived to pick me up after over 30 min (Even though the app showed his location just 2 min away!). As he was not familiar with airport route, and he was relying on gps for direction, he made wrong turns and ended up 5 min beyond the closure of boarding. The airline refused to oblige and collected rs 2000 (Receipt no. Given) so that i can catch the 6:15 flight, 9w334. I want this complaint to be taken up with ola cabs and i get compensation with penalty. Was this information helpful? | |||||
