Ola Electric — Ola electric scooter forcing to claim insurance

I have purchased ola scooter before one month. And after 20 days of purchase I was unable to charge my scooter. so I contacted customer support and they took my scooter to service station and called me that my scooter was not charging because of rat bite. And they are forcing me to claim insurance policy for damage. Because of company design fault why should I claim insurance? So please guide me further.
