1. I Have been cheated of Rs.44, 500/- by an OLX Seller and DTDC Courier Staffs
Respected Sir / Madam,
I am Sivakumar. J S/o. Jagadeesan. B, Age-41, Residing at Maduravoyal, Chennai
On the 26th of January 2022, I saw a TV for sale ad in OLX for Rs.50, 000/-.
2. the seller had given his number in chat to me, I contacted the seller, he spoke to me in Hindi, I said I don't know Hindi, then he said I'll ask my son to speak with you regarding this TV, after 30 minutes, a person named Sameer Malik spoke with me, he said TV is available.
3. he said he can courier me the TV to Chennai, further, he said that I can inspect the TV and its condition in the video call, I negotiated the price of the TV to Rs.44, 500, we both agreed to this, he said he can courier me the TV to Chennai, we both agreed to this.
4. On 27th January 1:47 PM, I spoke to him in video call and he showed me the exact TV posted in the ad, I inspected the TV's condition and it was perfect, he asked me to pay the TV's amount to pack the TV and to send it to Chennai, after a long conversation we both agreed to T&C
5. Half amount after sending TV and balance amount after delivering the TV to me, On 27th January 9:42 PM I sent him Rs. 2000/- Courier Charges as Advance, On 28th January 4:24 PM, I spoke to him over video call, I saw him packing the TV in the box.
6. again at 4:47 PM I spoke to him over video call and he was at the Maujpur DTDC office Near Bikaner Kaju Wala, he told me that the staff working at the DTDC office is his friend and he sent me the visiting card of the DTDC office. The name of the staff is Manju Singh.
7. Sameer Malik said that the staff will send me the image of the TV in the DTDC office along with courier receipt to my WhatsApp, On 28th Jan 5:58 PM the staff sent me a courier receipt with my name, my place, zip code, weight of the parcel and courier charges written on bill.
8. after getting the receipt in WhatsApp, I paid him Rs.10, 000, on 28th Jan 6:52 PM and I said I'll have to deposit the cash in the nearby ATM but the deposit machine was not working then I said to him I'll send the balance half amount tomorrow after depositing the cash in ATM.
9. I tracked the DTDC bill online which was sent by Manju Singh to me. On the DTDC website I was shocked to see that the parcel is going somewhere else and not to my state and city, I immediately called DTDC customer care and I came to know that it was booked for someone else.
10. when I asked about this to Manju Singh(DTDC staff)she said that she had sent me wrong slip and said she will update the Pincode and destination, how can one update Pincode and destination after dispatching the parcel? I became suspicious of both Sameer Malik and Manju Singh.
11. On 29th Jan morning 11:28 AM, I asked my money back from him saying that I lost my trust on him, at first he refused to give my money back but he said to me that he will pay me Rs. 8, 000/- only, the balance of Rs. 4, 000/- is for transportation and for his work done.
12. This time the DTDC lady staff sent me a delivery challan at noon 1:00 PM, (Note: Previous fake challan sent to me on 28th Jan 5:10 PM, with this tracking ID I found that the parcel was going to Haryana) with my address saying that the TV will be sent via Delhivery courier.
13. (DTDC and Delhivery courier both is in tie-up) when I tracked the consignment number in Delhivery website I saw that the pick-up has been created for the package, Manju Singh said that she had sent me the wrong DTDC slip on that day, it was totally fake.
14. but I trusted them without knowing that they would do like this, On the same day, Sameer Malik said that he took back his TV from the DTDC office and sent me videos of the TV returning back from the DTDC office, then I asked him again to send me the TV.
15. I said I'll pay him half amount, On 30th January 2:06 PM, I sent him Rs.15, 000, totally I paid him Rs. 27000/- till 30th January, at evening 5:46 PM he sent me the videos of packing the TV again
16. At 6:41 PM he sent me the video of the TV at DTDC office, I spoke to him on video call also, I confirmed that the TV is at the DTDC office and he showed me the courier bill on the DTDC office table, with my Name and Pincode written along with the weight of the package 41 Kgs
17. I tracked the bill number online on the DTDC tracking website the package was coming to my destination and zip code, then I waited for the TV to arrive at my place during this period, he asked me to pay the final balance amount on February 2nd cause he said I will get the TV.
18. he said, he insured the TV for the invoice amount of Rs.48000 so if anything happens on the way I can claim the insured amount, when I asked about the insurance bill he said there will be no bill for insurance but I can claim the insured amount which hit me suspiciously again
19. Then as he said I transferred him the balance amount of Rs. 17, 500
On 3rd of February, I got a call from Chennai DTDC delivery person to collect my parcel, the person came in a bike and gave a small rectangular box weighing only 0.89 Kgs.
20. In the consignment I saw only a remote and small TV stand with the 41 Kgs bill pasted on it, I said that I have to get TV only but you are giving me this piece of box to the delivery person, he told me he got only this for the bill number and asked me to call the sender.
21. So I called Sameer Malik and asked him about this and he said he sent two separate parcels and told me to ask about it to my local DTDC office and Manju Singh, when I asked about this to local DTDC Office they said only one package came for this bill number.
22. after informing this to Sameer Malik, he said that the TV is coming in train and it will reach me after 3 or 4 working days and he said that the TV stand and remote came by flight early, I confirmed that he is lying to me, So I asked my money back but he refused.
23. I asked about the receipt for the TV coming in the train, Sameer Malik told me to ask DTDC Staff Manju Singh, the staff said she will send me the bill but Sameer and Manju didn't send me anything that day, I waited the whole day for the receipt trusting them.
24. then I contacted the DTDC channel partner Manoj Singh (Manju Singh's Husband) on February 3rd Morning at 9:45 AM he asked me what happened, I explained all this to him, he said he will send me tracking number for the TV coming in train after reaching the DTDC office.
25. Then at 11:00 AM after reaching the office he too joined with these culprits and asked me to pay Rs. 700 to send me the tracking number, Now Sameer Malik, (Manju Singh & Manoj Singh(DTDC Staffs)) played with me well and looted my money.
26. they didn't send me anything, all I received was TV stand and some other remote in the package which was weighing only 0.89Kgs with 41 Kgs bill pasted on it, When I told Sameer Malik that I am going to complain about this to Delhi Police he boldly said to give a complaint.
27. but again he video called me on February 4th @ 3:10 PM and showed a big box and said TV is inside the box and he kept it inside a Tata Ace Vehicle and said that the TV will be reaching me in 5 working days, I said I don't want the TV anymore and asked my money back.
28. I am not ready to believe his words anymore and they updated the old delhivery bill (check thread 12) and asked me to track it online, the tracking shows the package is in transit but I don't know what is coming to me.
29. Sameer Malik and both DTDC staff themselves have been involved in this crime, If DTDC partners themselves have been involved in this crime in the sense then how people will trust DTDC courier, they literally tampered the receipt and cheated me.
30. I hereby declare that this is a group of gang in Delhi, Seelampur to cheat people's money, these people have got a legal license from DTDC to cheat people. I kindly request Delhi police and Delhi cybercrime to take action Sameer Malik, Manju Singh & Manoj Singh(DTDC Staffs).
I have also filed a complaint online through the cybercrime webs

Note: I kindly request you to take severe action on Sameer Malik, Manju Singh & Manoj Singh, cause in the future no one should get affected like me.
