I purchased Iphone 15 Pro on 16 December 2023 as per suggestion I purchased Iprotect insurance plan from OnsiteGo worth 21, 900. At the time of purchase they mentioned Whole Unit Damage is covered and Can get upto 2 units replaced in 2 years. On 1st March 2024 after I met with accident, my Iphone 15 Pro got crushed under a vehicle. I reached onsitego and they said I never purchased any plan, after submitting the bills, they said they had some glitch in system and activated the plan on March 7th and scheduled a pickup of damaged phone and charged me additional 8, 500 rupees for replacement with new iphone 15 pro. After the payment, during the pickup they rejected the claim and now saying I will not get any refund. 1st of all, they never activated my insurance plan until March 7th 2024 which is almost 3 months after purchase, now they charged me 21, 900 + 8500 and not even refunding the insurance plan amount as they failed to replace the phone.
While purchasing they market as if they can do all kind of wonders, but while claims they just scam the customers. OnsiteGo is a scammer
My Bad, I already had purchased same Iprotect plan on March 3rd 2024 for 1 more Iphone 15 pro. Also my laptop and TV were also insured from OnsiteGo.
If OnsiteGo cannor repair or replace my phone, they should refund the insurance plan amount of 21, 900 + 8500 for damaged unit and 21, 900 for New insurance plan purchased on 3rd March 2024.
Total 21, 900 + 8499 + 21, 900 = 52, 299 Rupees. Was this information helpful? |
