When I bought an Iphone for my daughter from Bajaj electronics, the store guy persuaded me to purchase a 2 year warranty, assuring that damages are covered 100%. Unfortunately, the phone slipped from her hand and fell under the bus while coming from college and got totally damaged. When we submitted the phone to Onsitego, after keeping the phone with them for 2 weeks, they say that the front camera is missing hence they are rejecting the claim.
When I tried telling them that 1. the phone was submitted to Onsitego in as-is condition, 2. what is the point in looking for a missed part in a totally damaged phone and 3. why not look at the possibility that some of their staff stealing the camera, they refuse to listen. Only one standard statement comes out : we apologize sir, but we have to reject the claim'.
Folks: never buy any warrantee plans for Onsitego. They are a company set up to loot the common, gullible consumers Was this information helpful? |
