[Resolved]  Hindustan Petroleum Dealer - M/S Kekan LPG Corner — Dealer not ready to give a new connection if I do not take LPG gas stove from them

Respected Higher Authority,

HP dealer is forcing and obligating me to take gas stove with the new connection. They are not ready to give a new connection if I do not take LPG gas stove from them.

I would like to draw your attention against the injustice and file a complaint against the HP dealer with below details:

HP Dealer Details:
M/s Kekan LPG Corner,
Vidyanagar, Pune-411032

- I have all the legal documents required for taking a new connection.
- Verification process is successfully completed where HP guy visited my home and saw that I already have a brand new Prestige ISI marked 3-burner stove.
- The verification guy also specified about the LPG stove on the verification form.

Today, when I visited the dealer's office for taking the new connection- They denied to give the connection if I do not take LPG stove from them.

The girl on the counter asked me to call the manager Mr. Patil who was not in office. As per the girl, Mr. Patil is a manager and decision taker.

When I talked to him and said that I already have the LPG connection, he offered to take some kitchen set for the same amount.

They are not ready to give a new connection if I do not take LPG gas tove from them.

Need your immediate attention and action against this incorrect practice followed by the dealer.

Looking for some corrective action against this injustice.

Hindustan Petroleum — not giving new gas connection

i had registered for new gas connection in yderabad city. Though the allotment has been made the dealer is not providing me with the connection. In the newspaper it was announced that new connections will be available even without stove. But when i enquired they are dodging saying that an inspection has to be made. On the pretext of inspection they are demanding more money. Please look into the matter and do the needful.

Dear Sir,
I have applied for new connection from your Authorised Dealer M/S Swamiji Enterprise (31/1 Biren Roy Road (West) Kolkata - 700061. Phone no.[protected] on 18/06/10.
Brief Background
I had a gas connection earlier at Mumbai ( I was working at Siemens Limited Kalwa works Mumbai and got transferred ito Kolkata in the year 2005. During transfer I had surrendered my gas connection and only carried the oven along with me. Till then we were staying in our old residence where I need not to take a new connection.) Recently I have purchsaed a new apartment where in I had to take new gas connection).
The dealer insisted to take new oven along with all new accessories.
I have agreed to the same to save time and not to antagonise .
Accordingly I had diposited a total amount of Rs 1975 (as mentioned on the front side of bill ( cash memol no. 4652 dated 18/06/10) and an additional 1400+100+45 ( mentioned on the reverse side of bill) thus in total 3520/-.
The concerned person assured that new oven along accessories and gas connection will be delivered within a week.
I have fillowed up several times and personally visited twice. Every time I have been assured "that same will be deliverd on same day itsef"
Regret to inform nothing has been materialised.
Incidentally, please be informed that my father was an ex employee (operaration officer - employee no.996584 at HP Budge Budge depot.) Obviously my entire family has a high regard for HP and on insistance of my mother I had opted for HP gas ( instead of IOCL/ BPCL).
Such dismal customer service with lack of commitment gives an entirely wrong impression of an esteemed organisation like yours.
My sincere request
1. Please commit whatever you can deliver
2. Please bring transparency in all your dealer based network to avoid corruption
3. Improve service.
Please take necessary action so that my gas connection is established at the earliest.
