[Resolved]  OYO — Refund Delayed and unresponsive

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Oyo Townhouse

The issue that I have experienced was: I had booked 4 rooms on 9th July 2022 in Townhouse 459 Hotel Bali Square. Confirmation was done and payment was made of Rs 5, 922. When we reached to the hotel the manager in location denied to check in because the townhouse and Oyo are not tied up so we called the customer service representative the representative was rude and was not able to find is other options and it was 1am and they were not able to provide any solution we agreed for refund and the representative told it will take 7-14 working days. Called the customer service representative on 11th of July to check on the refund status and got a confirmation email sent from them saying refund will be provided within 7-14 working days.I didn't distrub or call anyone as I waited for 14 working days and still I haven't received refund. I am calling the customer service representative on 29th July 2022 for almost 12times either they are transferring my calls or putting my call on hold for 10 - 15mins and disconnecting my call i wasn't able to talk to the manager or anyone who can resolve the issue and the representatives were all rude and didn't even listen to my issue. So kindly refund Rs 5922 with Rs 15, 000 compansation for whatever happened.

Hi sir/madam

This is an mistake from your side. You had the advertisement in your page even though you are not tied up with Townhouse and full payment was made. After so much of trying to reach out to you guys all I faced was humiliation from your customer support team. On July 13th I spoke to your representative she told that refund has been initiated and I will be receiving in 7-14working days of payment according to your terms and conditions and I got a confirmation email from her. And again now I got a call from your representative saying the refund was not initiated again I have to wait for another 7-14 working days this is not what i expected from Oyo. The amount I paid is a huge amount. And I'm serious if I don't get the refund by tomorrow with the compensation of Rs. 15000. I'll have to file a case in consumer court
