I have bought 55"panasonic tv in october 2017. The tv was functioning good until we spotted a"big black spot" on the tvs screen in march 2018. I have contacted customer service of panasonic and reported the same. However, the technician did not inspect the tv for any defects and just left. The problem was not resolved in march 2018. The same black spot again appeared now. I have reported again to customer service to which they are claiming the defects/repairs will not be covered in warranty. This is totally unfair as the same defect itself was reported in march 2018 while it was in warranty and the serviceman blatantly ignored the problem.
After many emails and phone calls panasonic serviceman took the tv for repair. They charged us 3500 rupees for repairs. However the problem is still not resolved. Now we see multiple black spots on the tv.
Panasonic is refusing to cover the repairs under warranty when the problem first appeared within 6 months from the purchase of tv and then charging us 3500 without even resolving the issue. This entire ordeal with panasonic has been a torture for us.
