Panasonic — microwave oven magnetron not covered | |||||
I purchased a panasonic microwave oven in 2016. Then it stopped working a month ago. I gave it for repair in a panasonic service center, then they came back with a quote of 3500 for transformer, 2000 for magnetron and 2700 for taxes and charges. As per panasonic website, the product with serial number nnct353b carries 3 years warranty on magnetron. The service executives withheld this information until i discovered it myself and now are refusing to cover it under warranty even when evidence has been produced.
