I had bought Sanyo AC by Panasonic on 13th Jan, 2021. I paid Rs.9600 for extending my warranty by 3 years on 4th January. The extension was to start from 13th January. On 6th, due to some unfortunate circumstances, I decided not to go ahead with warranty and asked the team to cancel and refund me the money paid for extension as the Service period had still not started. The team decided to delay the talks and on 12th January, the Voice of the Customer officer, Mr. Jitendra told me that won't be able to refund. It's absurd to not refund for the services which the customer does not want to avail. I don't want those services and the warranty period for those services has not even started and still they are not willing to refund. I had no option but to knock the door of Consumer grievance cell. I have been mentally harassed by the customer care team for the last 7 days. The company has decided to sit on the money.
