I had registered call (R[protected]) with Panasonic customer care[protected] or[protected] for repair of Panasonic split AC (cooling not working). Post registration of my service call, I received call from technician ([protected]-Arbaz) for making visit at my residence for repair.
The technician informed my mother that gas needs to be filled for which he charged 2700. In total he charged[protected] for gas and 600 for visit). The payment was done via google pay to following number- [protected]. The technician did not wait for checking of cooling as he informed my mother that it will take time for cooling to be effective. Hence he left. While leaving he informed my mother that if there is any issue then he will come back and provided his contact number to her. On call he informed to me that there is 3 months warranty to repairs.
We checked the cooling effectiveness twice but found that the cooling of AC not working. I called the technician following morning and he said he will come in evening. He did not turn up and since that time his phone is switched off or out of network area.
I registered a complaint again with Panasonic customer care to resolve the issue. I got a confirmation on call from Mr. Abdul (customer care team member) that i will not be charged for repair. The complaint number is R[protected]. I was advised by Abdul to speak with service center manager Mr. syed[protected]. Upon connecting with Mr. Syed, he is yet to figure out who turned up to repair. Mr. Syed sent a technician in the week of 4th April to assess the AC repair done. Assessment report was submitted by technician the same day to Syed for further action and advice. The technician informed to me in person that similar fraud incident has happened to another customer in Bangalore in the name of Panasonic India. Further follow up with customer care and Syed has not yielded in any result.
I also raised complaint by writing email to service.[protected]@in.panasonic.com on 3rd April however no response has been received. The matter was brought to Panasonic India twitter handle on 3rd April and they assured that matter will be looked to resolve this. However no response and resolution provided since then.
Request Panasonic India to look into this matter urgently and get the AC repaired free of cost immediately. Was this information helpful? |
