i have submitted my applicaiton for passport on[protected] at District Passport Collection Office, Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur vide File No. JALZ80823608 for issue of new indian passport along with NOC through staff file. As per information received through internet state that, there is no any police verification not yet received.

Presently i am performing my duties at FTR HQ BSF KASHMIR, Sanatnagar, Srinagar as Inspr (Technical). NOC for issue of PASSPORT attached with application.

Hence, it is requested that, kindly be clarify my entire case for issue of poassport otherwise if we require any verification about me, please clarify from Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur for further issue.

During police inquiry of passports, the concerned police man asks for various certificates(photocopy).If someone laments then he asks for another one.I have to say that" should we provide the police the documents or they just ask at their own.Their should be a list with the policeman if these documents are really required and on completion of inquirey he should give the ACKNOWLEDGEMENT that he has recevied all the documents and inquirey is complete.So in this way malpractes can be avoided and harresment of Public can be avoided.i hope you would look into the matter and issue guidelines to the police.

Now i had got married on 05.05.2009 and need to change my Surname and add my Husband name, who belongs to Bhatinda. i had applied for the same but it was rejected since the Batala (my home town) come under the provision of Amritsar Passport office. later i submitted my documents in Amritsar office also but they rejected the file and instructed us to go to Chandigarh office. In this whole process i have already wasted my two months. Now i had approched Chandigarh Passport office and they are saying that the whole process of addition and updatetion will take 2-3 months. I really dont understand the system. Is there no connection between all the passport office and why the customer is suffering financially and wasting time also. I would like to request you to guide me in further course of action.
