[Resolved]  Paytm — failure to refund inr 1650 /

I had booked a hotel in pondicherry for july 24th, payed through paytm on july 22nd at 9:33pm. Because o[censored]nforeseen reason the hotel booking was cancelled on july 23 rd 12:39 pm.

As per paytm policy 100 % refund will be made if cancellation was done 72 hours before check in date & time.in my case i had booked the hotel less than 36 hours before check in and had canceled the same 15 hours after booking and 13 hours before check in.

No refund had been made so far contacted [protected] spoken with customer care executive.

My query - i had booked the hotel less than 36 hours before check in and cancelled 15 hours before check in. Paytm policy of full refund if cancellation done before 72 hours does not apply for me, because of above reason / further e mail & sms communication was send to me stating irs 1650 will be refunded to my paytm account

Paytm have to refund the money to my account with out doubt, denial is violation of rights and policy, if so initiate necessary legal action.
