Paytm — Funds taken from account without reimbursement. | |||||
On December 02, 2015 I placed an order on Zoffio.com for 1048.00 INR, I decided to use PayTM to pay for the order. Once I put my bank password to confirm the order, I got an error message from their site stating the transaction did not go through due to a technical issue. I checked my bank account (please see attachment), and the funds had been deducted from my bank. I checked the Zoffio site to see if the order went through, but it had not (please see attachment). I contacted PayTM and they told me to provide the order number, which of course there is no order number as the order did not go through (please see attachment). I further complained to PayTM, and again they responded with a generic email message asking for the same information, which does not exist. It has been 5 days now, and I still have not received my money back. I tried calling their customer support number, but it's just an IVR that requires one to input their order number, which I do not have.
