I booked this ticket around 11.05 in the morning.
Had aprox 114 in my wallet and added another 118+ to get the TATKAL ticket done. This was all done via PAYTM site through IRCTC.
I am assuming there was a system glitch with PAYTM systems due to which the payment did not reach IRCTC and my ticket could not be booked.
It is now showing in my failed transactions section of IRCTC account. I have been trying to get this sorted since the past 1 hour and I am on call being transferred to various departments by your customer service team. Every person I talk to is incompetent in handling the query and says that the call will be transferred to some other department.
First of all they should change PAYTM IVR from repeating that "YOUR CALL IS IMPORTANT TO US WILL BE ANSWERED SHORTLY" cause that does not mean anything neither does it get answered.
Secondly they should have better execs on the floor to handle queries and competent TL's or Supervisors on floor who can handle escalations rather than just transferring calls and making the subscriber run around to all departments. After 58 minutes my call was disconnected when I declined disconnecting my call which the Agent asked me to do as he could not help me. Attached is the screenshot of my phne call with them.
Coming back to my ISSUE : I am still waiting for them to respond about the issue
