AT ABOUT 8.28 AM on 20.8.2023, Rs. 450 was debited to my PAYTM Wallet (UPI Id. [protected]@paytm) and shown credited to Phone No. [protected] of Pebbati Shiva Kumar, merchant. Whereas the merchant says no BANK ACCOUNT is linked to his phone and he does not deal with PAYTM.
I immediately contacted through APP Support and conveyed the issue to the PAYTM. However, with pre-recorded messages the PAYTM Cust service has been playing havoc with me. I asked for credit details of the relative accounts of the merchant or reverse the transaction as the merchant said he does not have any paytm / Bank account linked to his phone. The PAYTM IVR service is such a horrible service, which totally one sided and the cust care system is horrible and it seems to harass the customer than resolving the issues.
