With reference to my earlier complaint (ID: 2127784), and after much anguish, Paytm offered me two PromoCodes UPPJHATC4EK2 and WH9PVHLVG2WF, and said that these can be used to pay electricity bills, before Dec 31. Each would entitle me to a cashback of maximum of Rs. 1500. So, in November, I successfully used UPPJHATC4EK2 and I got a cashback of Rs. 1500. During the same month I tried to use WH9PVHLVG2WF and it kept on giving an error. So I wrote to them and told them about it. They did not respond. I kept on writing; and finally they responded saying that the second promocode can be applied in December. So I tried using it last week. And it failed again. Now, I have been writing to them over and over again and they refuse to respond.
Most of the time, the Paytm officers do not read and try to understand what the problem; so I have to keep on repeating my story. So here is the background once again.
In Order order [protected], the promo code (it was a different promo code, not mentioned in my email below) did not get applied due to some problem with the app. SO, Paytm had given me 2 special promo codes AFTER Order [protected] was fulfilled, due to a problem at your end. These codes are UPPJHATC4EK2 and WH9PVHLVG2WF. I was told that I can use both to pay electricity bills UPTO Dec 31 for a cashack of Rs. 1500 per promo code (and a total of Rs. 3000 as cutback). I could successfully use UPPJHATC4EK2 (see the attachment below) and the cutback was credited. However I could not use WH9PVHLVG2WF to pay another electricity bill (see the failed attempt attachment).
For nearly 2 months now, Paytm has harassed me mentally, and I think it is about time they pay me Rs. 10 lacs as mental harassment cost.
