Desirable resolution - request a refund
Accidentally i transferred money to an invalid number ([protected] - the number doesn't exists). The transaction status shows success. If the number is not valid and paytm wallet doesn't exists for the number then where the money was transferred to.
When i called their customer care, they refused to accept that the number was invalid and replied that you will have to take legal/police action against the receiver of the money. (They forgot that if the number is invalid then against whom i would be lodging complaints).
This is quite irresponsible behaviour which directly impacts economic condition of tax payers. This loose behaviour is not expected from an institution which is making it's way to online banks. Was this information helpful? |
