Paytm — Non booking o[censored]ber cab when I had more than minimum required amount of balance in paytm account | |||||
As per notification shown by paytm account for booking o[censored]ber cab the minimum required amount is Rs. 350 that should be available in the account. When I tried booking a cab on evening of 27th March 2017 at approximately 5:40 pm I was not allowed to book a cab till I would further add funds in the paytm account. The balance shown at that time in paytm account was about Rs. 333/- while actual amount in the account was about Rs. 683/- and the estimated fare charge for destined location was Rs. 120/-. This is not the first time that such incidence has happened with Paytm services. Besides they have arbitrarily increased their minimum required balance to Rs. 350/- without any prior notifications. Even before such instances have happened where it has been shown lower available amount than the actual in paytm account and to continue to avail paytm services the account had to be recharged immediately although balance available in account had been more than the minimum required amount. This implies that the minimum amount being forced by Paytm to be retained in account is more than they actual claim to be required. I also tried to contact on four different customer care and complaint numbers provided on internet by paytm but none of them had the option to let me communicate my issue.
