[Resolved] Paytm — Not getting money refunded back to wallet | |||||
Hi Sir, My Brother ([protected]) was trying to send Rs.700 to my Paytm account([protected]) on 5th June. But mistakenly he transferred to [protected]. When we contacted that person, he said he don't have any paytm account and he don't know how to use. We told him, we can can guide you but still he didn't wanted to refund us back through paytm. We asked him what would be the best means for him to refund that back. He told he will transfer it through bank and asked my bank details. I have given him that also.But even after 8 days he didn't transferred it. Then after various attempts of call, he picked my call. I told him, if he cant transfer the money. Then atleast do a recharge of 700 on my mobile.He agreed to that. But still he didn't done the recharge till now.And now he is telling he can't do the recharge also. In short he is now denying to give my money back. I raised a request with Paytm also(ticket no.[protected] for refunding back the money as their policy(https://paytm.com/faq/payment/refund) says if the money is transferred to a person and he don't have any paytm account & he didn't create it within 3 days of transfer, the money will be refunded back to the sender.(Screeshot attached). And here in this, its already more than 14 days and the recipient don't have paytm account(watsapp confirmation screenshot attached).
