Paytm — unable to complete kyc and no proper solution available. | |||||
We had purchased mobile phone through paytm a few months back as teh seller informed us that if we make the purchase through paytm we will get a cashback of 3000 rupees. To be able to avail this, we had to go through a lot of hassle of installing the app, providing may details, going to the store 2-3 times as their systems were down at certain times etc... After the purchase we were told that we have to compete the kyc to get the cash back in a form we can use it. We have been trying to do it from the mobile vendor and on our own but there is always some error. Also, they usually inform us that paytm system is under maintenance or some such problem and hence it cant be done right now. It has been almost 4 months, we have added our bank account details etc and still not able to do kyc and hence have not received the cash back. The customer contact centres have no option of speaking to anyone and hence not able to get a solution. All option of sending them a message cover topics other than my problem and hence i am unable to send them a written complaint either. Only solution related to my problem seems to be in their customer blogs and discussion forums - which obviously have no solutions but describes problems faced by many customers like me. All in all, they managed to waste a lot of my time and mobile space. It was an added benefit for which we wasted all the time and now seems unfair that they are fooling people like this. I a not sure if i will ever get the cash back but people need to know the reality and truth of such complanies. Was this information helpful? | |||||
