I have ordered a laptop screen on pctech.co.in on 2nd december, 2018. They asked me to pay extra 100rs to deliver product in 2-4 days which sums order amount to 7, 599 rs but, after repeated calls they delivered me on 20th december 2018 which is 18 days later.

Finally we got the screen, after installing the screen leds on the screen are very bright and malfunctioning on 22nd dec i called them and informed about the issue, they asked to send an image. So i sent them on their whatsapp number.

Today (24th december 2018) i again called pctech. They now informs me that screen is not compatible with my laptop and so i should have to buy an extra cable for 1500 rs. As this item is not compatible with my current laptop as specified in their website, i requested for a refund.

There is not information about additional cable that i need buy on their website. Website also clearly informs that this screen is compatible to dell xps l502x. Event though it is their own mistake of not giving any proper information on website now they refusing to refund my money.

They are trying to cheat the customer all the ways possible. Delayed delivery, sending false products and forcing to buy other products.

Dear PCTECH Legal Team, Actually my compliant got resolved last week and I just spent 400rs and bought normal cable which worked fine. I just verified your calls on my mobile and I reached this website to close this issue. But after reading above comment, I am very interested to know which of your law objecting freedom of speech and expression. Remember under Consumer Protection Act of 1986, we as consumer has right to be informed and you have the responsibility to inform us at the time of purchase and not after the delivery. May be you have some policies for not accepting the returns and we respect that but you must keep things clear to the customer before making the pay on your site. I still can't understand as I made purchase from your site, why should I pay 1500rs again to fix things? Why do I spend 9500 to replace screen on my old dell laptop? - May be my problem. Why don't you at least warn me before I make a purchase on your site? Anyway I am not here to damage your company reputation or at least no interested in that, my issue got resolved - I am closing this. Regards, Gowthamraj Vungarala

i have been dealing with PC Tech for last 2 years. I have noticed that their website is sketchy. They need to be comprehensive in specifications. I wish they look at some foreign websites, which state technical details clearly. If there is only one version for a product, then its fine. However there are various versions for a particular item. its always a gamble. They need more clarity regarding returns /refunds. If the product turns out to be incompatible, it should be refunded.

Legal action? You are threatening him with legal action for making a perfectly legal complaint? I was just going to order a replacement screen for my ASUS ROG laptop which is listed for a whooping 17000, and thought first to check for signs of scams, I am lucky I found this before making any payments. These forums do serve a good purpose after all!
Good that I saw the kind reply by pctech team here... I was about to order something from their site and recommend others as well... but thanks Gowthamraj for not taking your comment back. Interestingly, the comment comes up as resolved on google search... but good that I came inside.

I was about to order a 15", 144hz, FHD laptop display for my Acer Predator Helios.

Have some Shame PC TECH
I was searching for a laptop display for my ASUS ROG gaming laptop which I was unable to find anywhere in local market but fortunately I do found it on pctech.co.in that too at reasonable price. It was delivered in 3 days in Bangalore after placing the order.
I had a wonderful experience and PCTECH gave a new life to my ASUS ROG.

LOL this is a fake account isn't it? Who makes an account on consumer complaints for the sole reason of NOT COMPLAINING? Very shady business.
I also bought a 144Hz Full HD display for my Acer NOTRO laptop and the quality of the display is amazing and prices too low. Acer quoted me more then 35K for this display.
