I had been recently to Chidambaram and as it was very hot because of summer I wanted to buy cool drink at a shop in Chidambaram. That shop fellow was asking Rs.7/- more than the MRP rate for each cooldrink pet bottle.
Similarly, there is one SAFA COOL BAR in Woods Road, Off Mount Road, near LIC, where all cool drinks cost Rs.3/- more than the MRP rate and another Kailash News Mart in the road opposite to Pondy Bazaar Post office road i.e., on the way to G N Chetty road, each cool drink bottle costs Rs.2/- more than the MRP rate. All these fellows are saying that they charge more than MRP for cooling.

This is simply atrocious and none of the public does not have the courage to ask them why they are charging more than the MRP rate. Everybody gives off the extra amount and go off silently. If they charge Rs.2-7/- for each customer, know how much they plunder everyday by selling cool drinks alone. This amount is in addition to the money that they get as profit for each bottle sold. The authorities definitely have to put a full stop to this type of dacoity. This has become a routine every where. Previously it was only at bus stands and railway stations. This has now spread to other shops also.

I am writing about the selling of essential commodities like water bottle, cold-drinks and even eatables like chips etc over and above the printed MRP. Its not that i can't afford, but i have broader concern as this essentially has a toll on common man. Many people just don't care(as they can afford & don't confront). On being confronted, shop-keepers just say( take if you want to, we will sell at this price only).

Although i have written this complaint in context of ISBT sec 43, Chandigarh shops, but i have faced the issue multiple times at other bus-stands( like Jalandhar, Bathinda) also.

I have written this complaint with utmost faith in you that required action will be taken. I will really appreciate your efforts.

I got a Pepsi 200ml bottle in Rs 10 but the MRP cost printed on it was Rs 10. When I brought this in notice of Shopkeeper he said that the price Rs 10.
What can we do in this situation? Due to refrigeration of cold drinks is it alright if they charge some money etc. Also in cinema halls or fairs they sell food items at price higher than MRP. Is it lawful?

I am a small shop keeper and retailer of Pepsi Good from past15 year some how their is falut occur in both the fridge given by pepsi company,

So many call at customer care and follow up no one take care and replace the pepsi fridge.

Please see this matter immidiatly and help us as this will effect -ve to pepsi product sale and their image.

This is to bring you the unethical business practice at pune swargate bus stand.On 10/05/2012 i was waiting to board to Pune-,Mumbai bus at swargate bus stand.I went to nearby shop at the bus stand for buying Pepsi cold drink.When i asked the price of cold drink the said shop owner said the price of rs 17,whereas the Mrp of the cold drink was rs 12.When i asked why it is sold at higher then mrp price he said to shut the mouth.I would request the concerned authority to stop these unethical business practice as they taking consumers on ride by charging higher

Hi, i would like to complaint about the shopkeepers in Madh Island especially the ones in the Madh Jetty to Vanella tank area which is at Marve road Malad West. These shopkeepers charge 2 to 3rs extra from the MRP rate and if we say that then they deny from giving that product. I had complaint earlier as well but there was no action taken against them and this is really not fair.

like wise. nos of cold drinks are all more than 2 or three rupees extra on selling price.
so please take a necessary steps against it.

I had gone to small hotel Hotel Laxmi at Chandivali rd Andheri (E) Near Boomerang , I asked for Pepsi 1 ltr bottle with MRP as 35 and he charged 45 rs for the same and told the other charge was for electricity for the fridge . I want severe action to be taken to such small Hotels who charge above the MRP .

I was receive a Message on dt-18.03.2012 No-[protected] I win UK Amount 5,00,000 and in this mail send Name and address to Pepsi company after we send my mail Id we receive mail from Pepsi company one Senior Executive Mr Jhon Martine arrive in india 9.45 am on 23.03.2012 after arrive he should contact[protected] with me J.martine contact and told to me 18,500/- deposit Name of A/c-KHOPALO KHOPALO A/c No- SBI [protected] for custom duty after deposit we send deposit slip scan copy and Identity proof Pan Card and ESI card to (this mail add [protected]@consulantant.com) after J.Martine said your money will be transfer in RBI one mail receive from RBI (this mail add receive accounts.[protected]@live.in) my personal details and my account open in RBI and I send detail data to RBI and after one mail receive from RBI my ID no-[protected] and pin no-9573 and 52,370/- for conversion amount deposit to A/c Name- TANEJA ENT ICICI BANK A/C No[protected] we did not payment this.My id and pin no open we see 39,179,660.00/- in this accounts.check this amount depositd in RBI or not true or false. i m AMIYA KUMAR MISHRA, doing my pgdm in Hyderabad, mostly in this city the retail shops r charges high price in different types of cold-drinks..normally the 300m.l of a cold-drink price is RS. 12/- but the shop charges RS. 14/- for it ..so its totally against of consumer act law.

so, sir plz take some necessary step for it. if we really want to corruption free India. i mention 1 shop name where it's charges more price thn market price.

Subject : Return of empties & refund of deposit.
Sir,
Few years back we had started selling soft drinks made by Pepsico. Towards this we had taken delivery of two crates of glass bottles from M/S Jay Enterprises, Kalyan, the then distributor for "Pepsi" products. We had paid Rs240/= & Rs100/= as deposit for these two crates.
Durning the course of time, your distributor have changed but we continued to sell pepsi products as late as Aug 2011.
Now we have decided to close our shop and so wish to return two empties to your present distributor viz M/S Kaushal Distributors, Ulhasnagar. However your present distributor is not taking back the two empty crates and refuses to refund our deposit money on one pretex or other fro last two months.
We request you to instruct M/S Kaushal Distributor to take back "empties" and refund deposit amount of Rs340/= without further delay.

I found a biscuit rapper in a pepsi 300 ml. bottle. Which is very serious matter. Tommorow I bought a pepsi 0f 300ml. in it dust was found but your distributor take it back immedieatly and replace it

I bought a slice mango drink when opened & poured in glass i could see some black
fungus in it. after seeing it i could see that the base of bottel has fungus. when i contacted the shopkeeper(Home Buddy) he said i shouls speak to pepsico. After taking to pepsico people they said that the moment customer opens a bottle there responsibility ceases. They were not ready to even check the content or were ready to register a complaint.I feel that we should bycout these MNC companies as they are taking indian customers for granted.

I had purchased at bottle of Slice(200 ml), Batch no-1191, Mfg Place-Steel city Bevrage, Adityapur,Jamshedpur,JHARKHAND.. on 4/9/2011 from Chhota Gobvindpur,Jamshedpur,JHARKHAND. After close observation of the bottle,I could see white small lumps mixed with drink. The bottle is still seal pack.
I had complained about this 14/9/2011 at there toll free no. I was told that within two days somebody will visit me. Again I called up on 17/9/2011. Same thing was said to me. Same thing send by mail on22/9/2011.But till date no action taken.
Please help me.

Hi Gays This is Deepak i having a problem with LEHAR Namkeen From the side of Pepsico the pouch of LEHAR Namkeen is not upto mark according to the Norms ad Laws of the company and I having the proof of regarding this so please tack care before purchase.

diet pepsi - 4 in 1 pack
the contents of 4 nos 330 ml can mfg. date is 25.2.2011 expiry date is 6 months from manufacture.
the outer pack packed date is April 2011
you can't find out the contents date of expiry.
If the outer pack date is April 2011 you would presume 6 months from this
whereas the actual date of expiry of the cans are 25th August, 2011.

what do you call this as cheat or confusing the customer.

Sir i Sudhakar working in the private company as a service engineer. Yesterday i went to Sudharshan hotel located in 90 feet road,opp to JPR channel, 90 feet road,Dharavi, Mumbai- 400017. While having my dinner i purchased the 7up of 200ml and the description of the bottle is MRPRs10/BN[protected]:45, i found a strange object inside the 7up hotel when i was going have the drink. It was like a big wooden stick inside the bottle then i purchased the 7up bottle from the hotel for Sum of RS 20 i need the complain to be launched against the company for this big and nasty mistake done by them as we are paying a huge amount for just a carbonized water then why we are able to get the good things for our gold money. Please launch the complain against the company if you the bottle i will provide you the bottle and i can even produce my self in the stage to prove it and i can even bring the hotel in the picture. I have even sent to the news channel. Please do he needful

I have found a Pepsi bottle which contains an Orpat 1.5 battery rusted in the unopened bottle...I've been running around so much since the last few months trying to voice my opinion to pepsico bottling but I've been told to remain silent or the Managers who look after this are out of station.I was once asked to get the bottle to 1 person but later on he started to avoid calls.I wanted to post the video online but since I got hold of this site thought I'l give another chance.During this time running around behind this I have incurred several expenses.I am a married person and hence cannot run here and there...Once I was offered 6 crates of pepsi for the bottle which I flatly refused telling them that how could I ever drink something like this ever.I live in Goa and this bottle was with the crate we purchased on a family gathering.Looking forward if I can get any help cause if some hand to drink this it would be a big risk to me and my family.
