Philips India — Unresolved complaint

I had purchased a mixer 3 months back.
The problem with the mixer was that the top knob on the mixer on which the jar is fixed was inclined and rubbing against the jar.
Now the mixer was not running on No.1 speed.
I complained to your service center and the service mechanic removed the knob and discovered all the screws under the knob were loose as a result the motor has been damaged.
He informed me that since invoice is not available I will have to pay for the motor.
This is suprising since the details available on the mixer should be enough to check the date of manufacture. Atleast date of manufacture can be used for validating the warranty.

I expect a company like Philips to honour their warrant ycommitment and have the motor changed and put the mixwer in working condition.
