I have bought my Sony T2 Ultra bearing Serial number [protected] on 25th September 2014 from UniverCell showroom in Vadapalani, Chennai (The branch is closed now). Along with it I also purchased UniverCell Total Care which acts like an insurance & gives complete protection for my smart phone. Both have been billed in the same invoice. I have a bill copy of the same. Due to rains the mobile got clogged with water & so I raised a pick-up request from Pickme India.. Initially they declined my registration. Later after going to Univercell, showing my bill copy & demanding for my service, the servicing department manager had taken my mobile & sent it for service. He has also given my a Job sheet copy for the same. This happened on 1st June 2015. It has been almost 7 months, I haven't still received my phone yet. I called the call centre so many times but all they say is it will come by this month end. Initially, they said it would take 45 woking days for approval & then 45 days post approval but its taking more than that!! The last time I called the call centre of Pick me (28th Dec 2015), they say that it is costing Rs.10, 000/- and they have still not received the payment from their Insurance company & that is why they are delaying my phone. When I asked them the question, this is their internal problem & why should the customer face the brunt, they have no answer. Also why should UniverCell tie up with such a company where the service is pathetic. And so I wish to file this case against both UniverCell & Pickme India. Please help me out of this situation to get my phone back. Thanks.
