[Resolved]  Pizza Hut India — Order not delivered even when the order was prepaid

Pizza Hut, Apple city, Seegehalli

We ordered from pizza hut and it showed order will be delivered by 10.27pm. Later after it showed that the order is out for delivery a person from the store called and said that please cancel the order as it is raining. When we said we can wait but please do deliver the order as it is already past 10pm he said the store was opened newly and there are no delivery boys to deliver the order. We requested them to deliver or if cancelling the order then to repay the amount at the same time. But later they disconnected without mentioning anything and even when we tried calling back they never answered.
Afterwards we called up Pizzahut customer care and the person who spoke said he will make sure the food is delivered as it was still showing as 'Your order is out for delivery' . We asked the person to call us back and let us know whatever he gets to know. We waited till 11pm and still there was no callback and the site still showed 'Your order is out for delivery'.
My kid is just 4years old and had to wait for his dinner. Would like to raise a concern and need a proper legal action to be taken.
The store is in Apple city, Seegehalli. If they had difficulty in delivering the order they shouldnt have taken it up. Or atleast not provide a wrond status.
