Sir/Madam,
I purchased a Micromax doodle3 A102 mobile from Poorvika Mobiles in
Medavakkam, Chennai on[protected] from Elango Salesman.
While purchasing itself Poorvika Mobiles provided with proper bill
and insurance&damage protection for the mobile as the Poorvika sales
clearly told that any problem that they will service at my door steps.
The mobile was fine and one fine day during end of May 2015 the mobile
speaker started to get low voice. Not able to listen any call ring
I tried restarting the mobile but was not working. I called Poorvika
customer care [protected] and asked for Service, Reference Id 26645
after I had given Xerox of Purchase bill and the Protection/Service plan.
I want to clearly mention hear that I had NOT dropped the mobile or it
is NOT exposed to water. But suddenly while watching a movie in the
mobile the issue started, volume becoming very low. Call speaker volume also low.
I was shocked by seeing the mobile like that and inquired about the same with the
Service Centre but they said I dropped it and small crack on the right hand side
of the LCD on the panel only, looks like a premeditated call to customer like
my by Ms.Latha from Poorvika customer service operator Chennai along with the
Poorvika technician. She is talking very harshly and rudely. She don't know the
Mobile Insurance Policy clause on the coverage of Fortuitous Circumstances.
Also after the detailed discussion with the Poorvika service technician
saying he found a problem with Phone's PCB and Explaining those things to
them didn't really helped me either because its a defective product sold to me
by poorvika. The technician asking me Rs.7500 to fix the LCD alone, then he
will send to Micromax for service of the speaker fix and the Phone PCB issue.
Imagine, new phone costs Rs.6200 at snapdeal.com, Poorvika service team trying
me to rip me off on top of paying for protection for my phone.
I raised the issue with the Poorvika service directly stating that the
issue is not with me and is to be solved by them only.
After fedup with the Ms.Latha's phone call, I decided to return back my
phone, but anyway I know I am cheated by Poorvika's promise on service.
Till date June 16th, Poorvika not yet returned to my phone back without service.
Micromax Care asked me to write a detailed complaint against poorvika service team
to fix my phone problem. I am sending this letter as copy to Micromax also.
After 6-7 calls to Poorvika service only they responded and fed-up
with them & still they didn't returned the mobile back to me.
I explained to them clearly on my state but no reply.
I hadn't ever faced a problem earlier with Nokia or Sony where I got my
handset serviced with your competitors then and there itself without any questions asked.
Poorvika literally failed here to service my case. I bought 5 mobiles
from Poorvika alone from the past.
I feel very ashamed of having the mobile bought at Poorvika after their
false promise(any issues Poorvika will take care) on service protection
So only I raising complaint against Poorvika Customer care, Poorvika and
the Insurance/Protection Guys here.
I should be answered correctly and my issue should be sorted out ASAP.
