Portronics — Fingerprint padlock Por-983 | |
Three fingerprint padlock was purchased from Portronics website last month. After getting the delivery, we could see from the first day itself that one of the lock was malfunctioning ie the lock system is not working. As the product was under warranty, we reached out to the customer care using their qr code to lodge a complaint 3 weeks back and sent a mail to them with the image of the lock, stating the exact malfunctioning of one of the locks but they didn't bother to reply on that. Again, we had called their customer support two weeks back and after hearing the entire issue, they acknowledged the issue and mentioned that they'll send a new lock. Since then, there was no update whatsoever. When we called them once again this week, this time they mentioned that we have to courier the lock to their facility and they will first check if the product can be replaced or not. The product costs 1500 approax and why should a consumer bear the problem to courier a lock midst this Pandemic when there is a very little chance to get the product back. We have already lost the money and as per warranty rule, they should ideally replace the faulty product. Reference ticket id 234585 Was this information helpful? | |
