I first purchased a Protronics Jumbo Power Bank (20000 MaH) in 2018. Since, it was working fine until recently, I decided to buy another one, for my mom. I then placed an order for Portronics Mino 20D (20000 MaH) power bank on 6th June 2020.
After, I received the power bank, when I charged it from 98%, it still took me 2 hours plus to get it fully charged to 100%.
This seemed odd to me because normally when you charge any power bank from 98% it usually only takes about 5 - 10 minutes to get fully charged.
I then texted Portronics Support on their WhatsApp number [protected], but they said it was normal as its a 20000 MaH battery. I was not satisfied with their explanation but since the power bank was working (though it took very long to charge) I didn't bother much about it.
After 2 months o[censored]sage, the power bank's digital LED display suddenly got spoiled, the digital LED Display stopped functioning properly and the characters in between disappeared. I mean my mom rarely used the product and just under 2 months the digital display got spoiled. This was unacceptable.
When I sent an email to Portronics with the screenshots and invoice of the product, they initially refused to respond. After many follow up they finally responded, stating the following ( Quoting the entire email here) :

I was not satisfied with their resolution as it included me to ship the product back to them and they refused to provide any reverse pickup.
My question is when you spend Rs. 1499 for the power bank, and it gets spoiled in under 2 months when its barely even used, shouldn't the company be responsible to pick up the faulty product and replace the product free of cost as the product is well under the warranty period?
Any professional company would agree to provide a reverse pick up and replace the product without any hassles. However, its been a painful 3 weeks for me following up with Portronics constantly without getting any suitable resolution from them.
I even reached out to Portronics on their twitter page @Portronics, and raised my concerns on their twitter page several times. One day all of a sudden I noticed that they blocked me from their page and I can no longer follow or tweet on their page (attaching screenshots).
This truly showcases that they are not a professional company by any means and once they sell their products to the customers, they are not bothered to provide any after sales service to their customers. This is by far my most painful experience with any company and I definitely would not recommend any one to buy any Portronics product in the future.
In fact, they are so shameless that even warning them that if my issue is not resolved soon, I'd raise a complaint in the National Consumer Helpline number ie.[protected]NCH) they still didn't give any response. So, i even raised my complaint finally with NCH, and provided them with the docket number 2291103, yet they still ignored my emails.
I am looking for a resolution, hope they arrange a reverse pick up and replace the product with a new one without any further delays or hassles or I'd have to approach the court of law.
