Pothys — Bill not received with customer name

Dear Pothys Customer Service Team,

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express a concern regarding a recent purchase I made at your Pothys Coimbatore Oppanakara Street branch.
The issue pertains to the invoice provided for the dress I purchased and the complications it poses for tax-related purposes.

Upon purchasing the dress, my request was to have the invoice issued in my name, as it is essential for income tax claim purposes. However, I was informed by the cashier and other managers that providing the invoice with the purchaser's name is not possible, and only a GST bill can be issued if a GST number is available.
This situation has left me in a difficult position, as it is important for me to have a valid invoice in my name to properly account for my expenses and claims.

I fully understand the importance of adhering to tax regulations and corporate policies. However, it is also crucial for customers to receive the necessary documentation for personal record-keeping and compliance. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter effectively.
