Professional Couriers — Delay in delivery of courier consignment and deficiency in service.

I am filing this complaint against Professional Courier for the unreasonable delay in delivering my courier and the lack of proper customer service.

I booked a courier from Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu to Chennai, Tamil Nadu on 23/06/2026. Since the shipment is within the same state, I expected it to be delivered within the normal delivery timeline.

Despite waiting several days, the parcel has still not been delivered. I contacted the Professional Courier branch in Thanjavur to enquire about the status. I was informed that the parcel had already left the nearest delivery center and was "out for delivery." However, even after receiving this information, the parcel has not been delivered, and I have not received any proper explanation or updated delivery commitment.

This is the second time I have experienced a similar delay with Professional Courier. Such repeated delays, especially for an intra-state shipment, demonstrate poor service and a lack of commitment towards customers. The absence of accurate tracking updates and effective communication has caused significant inconvenience.

I believe this amounts to a deficiency in service, as I paid for timely courier delivery but have not received the expected service.
