A courier was booked from Kochi to Noida on 21 September 2026, vide Tracking No. KOC64507304.
After about a week, when I checked the tracking status, it indicated that the courier would be delivered “tomorrow.” However, on 30 September 2026, I received a call from the Professional Couriers’ Noida office (Sector 3), informing me that the courier had been received and asking me to collect it personally by the following day, failing which it would be returned to the sender.
When I questioned why the courier was not being delivered to the designated delivery address in Sector 78, Noida, I was told that they did not have sufficient staff to make the delivery.
Accordingly, today, 1 October 2026, I personally travelled approximately 12 km to the Sector 3 office to collect the courier. I also met the Manager, but his response was the same. To my surprise, he advised that instead of coming personally, I could have hired a Porter service to collect the parcel.
I find this approach highly unprofessional and unacceptable from a professional courier service. The responsibility of delivering the courier to the designated delivery address should not be shifted to the customer, nor should the customer be expected to arrange and bear the cost of a third-party service to collect the parcel.
I request you to look into this matter seriously and take appropriate corrective action so that customers do not face such inconvenience in future. Was this information helpful? |
