We have shifted our home from chennai to salem. For that purpose we arranged this company for shifting. Intially they visited our house and gave quotation for 10k. and calculated no. of boxes to pack. On shifting day, after moved every boxes to a small truck they asked 16k. saying that "we calculated only 4 boxes to pack but now its 15-20 boxes around here so give the amount." do u ever heard of any house that having only 4 boxes of things. TV, FRIDGE AND Washing machine itself 3 boxes will come. They cheated alot, and tat small truck looks like piaggio truck. how will all those things fit inside it.My parents argued to get away all the things from truck and go away. For that they asked 6000 to keep the things down.Although packing things were completed 90% by my parents. Doesn't that packers & movers can't find a way to earn money in a right way! They same way Leo Packers and Movers are also FRAUD! I came to know this while my sister shifted her home from Chennai to Bangalore!

Hi, this is a complaint feedback against Professional Packers and Movers. I have taken their services for movement from Mumbai to Bangalore. I am very much disappointed by their managers and staff members’ attitude. During the movement my below stuff is broken and they do not care about customer pains. 1. Dining Table 2 legs is completely broken. 2. Show Rack shelf is broken. 3. Double Deb drawer hinges are broken. 4. 7-8 pieces of glass items are broken. 5. Tata Sky dish supporting rod is broken. 6. CFL Lamps are broken. 7. All the Oil bottles are not packed properly which caused a leak and other items in the same container are wasted. 8. Medicines bottles were not packed properly which caused leak and damages other items in same container. 9. Double Bed mattress were kept in a bad manner caused deep arc shape, which is not usable any more. I have taken the insurance of electronic items as they committed to take care of any damage done to my furniture including glass items. I have requested them to repair Dining Table and take balance amount however they refused to take care of my problems. I was harassed by their manager that unless I am not making payment of balance amount Rs.5000, they will not deliver my car. I got a call on 12th Jan'2014 from your driver regarding the delivery .He told he cant able to deliver the vehicle to the address mentioned and he misbehaved with his words and abused us.Its really hurted a lot for us.Next thing is Driver opened the courier which was already packed by Mr.Jagdeesan from Chennai and he took the key from the parcel and he tried to start the vehicle.
Since it was in non-moving condition he cant able to start the vehicle then what he did is he gave my vehicle to the bike service station nearby his home and made some repair works for temporary purpose and he was roaming in my vehicle in and around coimbatore.He was also explaining me about this.And also his speech was not acceptable and gave a mental torchure to us.

For two to three days i was calling Mr.Niranjan and Mr.Santosh for rectifying the problem but two persons was not responding.Is this a right way to behave with the customer? We already reviewed the good results about your packages in internet and we proceed to book in your concern.Is this a way to treat the customer?

Atlast i got a call from driver today (17th Jan'2014) regarding the delivery.He told that bike is not in a running condition so he needs to book one auto for delivering and he asked to pay the freight charges for auto and as well as service charge for my bike.Am i told him to service my bike???.First of all They dont have proper rights to open my courier.This is a offense and also he lost my bike Key

So we were totally disappointed with your service and this is not at all fair.So we are not going leave this issue as such.So we thought to proceed with consumer court for justice and also am going to publish this in all social network like facebook, twitter, etc regarding your service so that no one should not be affected like me.I lost around 200rs for my mobile alone for follow up and that too no proper response.Am running pillar to post for resolving this.Your service gave me a mental torture.

Recently my house hold goods moved from Hyderabad to Bangalore void LR No. 2242 through Professional Packers and Movers #8-2-78, plot no. 8, Sai Enclave, Behind Mahendra Reddy Garden, Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad - 500011, Phone:[protected] / 64536223. When I reached Mr. Satish (marketing executive) on his mobile ([protected]) from Packers and Movers, he promised that, they will take care of packing, unloading and unpacking at Bangalore. When I got quotation, they said, they will arrange separate vehicle because items are huge and it can’t be in shared mode. I accepted their proposal for individual vehicle for Rs.15000/-. But when I received my goods in Bangalore, vehicle has been changed and sent on shared vehicle and they are in hurry to dump everything without proper manners. Some of items are left in road and common area of the building. When I asked them for unpacking of goods, they denied and said there is a separate team for unpacking and will reach by evening and they demanded amount for unloading. They took Rs. 800/- from me for unloading the material. Since then, I started follow ups with Mr. Satish on his mobile [protected] / [protected]. He rarely pick my call and always saying he will come back in few minutes. But he never reached me with details. I waited complete 2 days to unpacking of my items but there is no response from Mr. Satish or from his company. Then mysel[censored]npacked everything. On Monday I reached on[protected] to raise the compliant. Call was picked up by Mr. Satish and he denied to provide details to correct contact person to raise the complaint.

Most pathetic thing is that, most of the glass items are broken as pieces and some of them are worthless.

Then I sent couple of mails (1st mail on 4th June 2013 , 2nd mail on 5th June and 3rd mail on 12th June 2013) to email IDs '[protected]@gmail.com'; '[protected]@yahoo.com'. But failed to get response even I informed them to raise a consumer court compliant.

Hence request you to take necessary action packers and movers to avoid such behavior with other people.

Never use their services. These people are really big cheater and fool you with many promises. I made a transfer of my household things from Mumbai to Bangalore few weeks back. At the time of purchase their agent Mr. Anil Kumar assured/promised that quotation is including all the charges and insurance premium(Rs 3000) covering liability for 1 Lac amount. During transfer some of my household items got broken and when i tried to call them back for claim, they turned it bluntly stating that no insurance was done for your items. So no claim can be processed. Although same is given on the quotation given by them but now they are denying it completely and no recovery for my loss.

Please do not rely on their false commitment and never ever go for their services.

Don't go for this packers. I have sent my car and goods through them to Kolkata. My car has damaged badly along with 25 liters petrol theft from my car. My son's and mine all new cloths price about 8000/- along with some utensils theft by removing the their own seal. When I contacted they are not taking any action so far. And I believe they wont also. But I shall go for consumer forum and court as well. They are worst of the packers. They take full payment before even sent a single good. And at last they destroy all and theft too. Dont go for this packers there are several others check out.

As you know that my car got damaged and 25 liters petrol theft from the truck no. HR38 32 930.

Besides that from my goods carrier my son's and my 8000/- new cloths and utensils theft from your sealed drum and sealed was not there and proved by your people who delivered both car and goods.

I need the action on them. Otherwise I would go to consumer forum. That will surely hamper your business images.

Highlights:-
1. Heavy damages as follows:
(a) Microwave Oven: Front glass full breakage. Microwave was not packed properly in wooden boxes. It was packed together with LCD and Glass top gas stove. It got damaged even with wooden packing.
(b) Complete Showpieces and crockery box damages. Packing team didn't pack one complete glass carton. There was no Bubble and newspaper. All crockery and show pieces converted into glass powder.
(c) Missing Shoe Rack
(d) Scratches on Dinning chairs
(e) Kitchen Item Box damage
2. They cheated on charges, initially they told me about 18000 Rs packing charges and after packing they said if I will not pay 25000 then they will unpack everything. These basturds don't know how to do correct estimation.
3. They charged towards insurance, but didn't send policy.
4. Packing material is not good. They came with torn cartoon and small truck (Tata ACE).
5. No action even though delivery team is witness of all this. After lot of request insurance claim is not given.
I have decided to go to consumer court and I will keep on doing bad publicity untill I get justice. If there is respect about somebody's feeling then they should feel sorry and payback towards damages.

I had availed the services of Professional Packers and Movers to move my houshold goods from Delhi to Hyderabad. As per the company executives instructions I had paid an insurance premium of Rs. 6000 (on declared value of Rs 200000).

Most of my household good very delivered damaged. IN ADDITION SOME OF MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS WERE ALSO MISSING.

I have made repeated calls and mails to the company.but they are not paying up for any damages.

Myself Anurag Sable, currently residing at Wakad,Pune, sent my goods (Washing machine and AC ) from chennai from Professional Packers and Movers on[protected] to Wardha(Maharashtra). They said the goods will be delivered exactly in 7 days. But even after 1.5 months the goods are not yet delivered. I am continuosly calling the person but he is not even picking my call. Now I came to know that my goods are in godown in Nagpur. I sent my brother there but they said they want extra money to deliver that goods to my home. I paid for Door to Door delivery. As I am out of chennai I cant even go and pursue the Packers and movers guy. I got all the receipts with me. I dont know how to get my goods.

Can you please help me in this matter.

Dear Sir,
I had shifted my household items from Thane To Tadipatri (A.P.)By Professional Packers and Movers.They asked me for Insurence of the items is must so I paid for that also but they didn't paid to insurence company .
During my shifting they commited me that Goods will reach on 28-29 th April as it was loaded on 24 th April.But actually it reached on 5 th May.
They damaged my many items and many items stolen/lost.
Now they are now not receiving my call also.Even they are not supporting for insurence also.
So I think This is cheating company they cheated me in this total thing I lost around Rs.25000/-

i had booked a transport vehical of professional packers and movers from delhi to allahabad and had give the advance for the same and i was assured that the service is very good and is punctual but when the day of packing came no body came and when i called the person incharge (mr sunil sharma) he was very rude and he didnt even attend my calls initially and they just disconnected the phone without giving any expkaination

I have shifted my household from Kolkata to Karnal through Professional Packers and movers,Kolkata, but at the time of dilivery i was shocked to see that 3 itoms- T.V., bed part and one cloth box was not present.

I have a word of caution for you guys who are moving from NCR. DON’T EVER TAKE THE SERVICES OF SHIVAM PROFESSIONAL PACKERS & MOVERS.
On a friend’s recommendation I booked Shivam Professional P&M, later after 1 week I got the call from same friend not to use his services as Pawan from Shivam Professional P&M has ruined his stuff. But by that time it was too late for me. My friend even suggested me to take my stuff back from him if possible.
A representative by the name Pawan (number: [protected]) will talk very politely with you and make you feel that they are the best people around. His company has no branch anywhere in India. They are just brokers who take your stuff and give it to third party for delivery to the respective locations.
First he charged me 4000Rs extra for the insurance policy which I never got. Then he has charged extra money for delivering my stuff to my home. He also charged extra for the storage which he has initially included in the quotation itself.
My advice to all the people out there who are moving, don’t use Shivam Professional Packers and Movers services.

we transported our personal household articles from chennai to mumbai by professional packers and movers on 27th jan 2001 and 11 items did not reach mumbai on 7th of feb. they claim to be an iso reg co. yet they are not able to trace our goods and they insist that we take claim. all i want are my goods and not my claim. they are not helpful at all. so please help us.these goods are in my fathers name. v.ramasubramanian.

I had contracted Professional Packers and Movers to transport my goods from Bangalore to Guwahati in September. Though I was initially assured delivery within 10 days, I only received the goods after over a month. Moreover, while I was assured that the truck would be sent directly to Guwahati, my good were first sent to Mumbai and then to Kolkata before finally arriving in Guwahati.

Also 3 carton boxes were missing on delivery and many furnitures, iron trunks and other goods like steel cupboards, crockery etc were heavily damaged beyond repair.

Besides they also charged me Rs. 2000 more than the initially quoted sum, on the day of transportation.

Apart from the above missing items, damages and delay in delivery, the unpacking of the household goods was not arranged for, in spite of my paying for the same and it being mentioned in the bill as one of the services paid for by me and to be performed by you. This has caused me immense inconvenience and a substantial additional expenditure. I hence believe I should be compensated and reimbursed adequately for breach of contract.

Inspite of my communicating this to the in charge person and repeated communication by emails and telephone, I have not yet received any compensation for the above loss of and damage to my possessions.

I would recommend that no one should use the services of this company because it is an organization of misleaders and cheats.

I have sent my House hold goods(total item is 97) to Delhi through M/s Proffesional Packers and movers, Kolkatta on 10/05/09 vide their LR no 4222 dt 10/05/09.And they have delivered at our delhi residence on 19/05 and 20/05/09 without Inverter( make Microtec) and following item in damage conditions,
1.Top cover of Washing Machine
2.Dressing Machine mirror.
apart of that my 02 Steel almirah in damage condition.I have shown the PPM people.
For taking the damrage and Inverter charge i Have make no of calls to PPM officials like,

I engaged Professional Packers & Movers (Division of Professional Transport Company) at Pune which has its head office at Bangalore address 57/1, Bharath Building, H.Siddaiah Road, Near J C Road, Bangalore-2. for moving my house hold goods from Pune to Chennai. They gave me a quotation for moving my goods on a sharing basis for Rs 14, 000/- plus insurance @3% of total value of goods and 10.36% service tax. I projected expenses around Rs 21, 000 inclusive of tax and insurance bsed on the quotation given to me ( total value of goods Rs 150, 000). I asked them to pack my goods on 11th of Apr 2009. Once the packing and loading was completed they gave me a shocker with the bill additionally charging me @4% of Rs 150, 000/- (total value of goods) which amounted to Rs 6000/- as Octroi. The total bill amounted to Rs 26, 150/- I insisted on paying Rs 21, 000/- now and the balance Rs 5000/- on the receipt of original payment receipts for Insurance and Octroi as I was pretty sure there are no Octroi on Household goods. I also wrote a note in the copy of the bill to scan and send me the receipts to my email ID.

They delivered my goods on 18th Apr 09 and demanded the balance amount which I refused as I didn't get the payment receipts for Octroi and Insurance. They threatened to take back my goods and demanded Rs 4000/- (which I eventually paid) and pay the balance Rs 1000/- once I get the receipts from them. I was calling their head office, branch office for the receipts and they kept saying no current unable to scan and requested me the fax number which I gave it. I'm following up for the insurance and Octroi receipts since then.They didn't even unpack my goods and promised to comeback the next day. I unpacked few of my important goods and found severely damaged which I can't even claim without insurance receipt. I have been following up every 2 hours since 19th Apr 2009. Its very apparent they have neither paid Octroi nor Insurance and have cheated me to an extent of Rs 10, 500/-.(i.e Insurance and Octroi charges) I have also confirmed from Transworld International Packers there are no Octroi for house hold goods.
I'm not sure what are the total damages as I'm yet to unpack everything. It will be really helpful if someone can help me in bringing this unprofessional packers to a task.
