There are various courts issued notification that collection of parking fee in movie theaters are illegal and the practice should be discontinued. Despite this fact, PVR continues to do this and to park a bike in order to watch a movie in their own facility, they are collecting INR 50 per vehicle and INR 150 it seems for 4 wheelers. It is also illegal that the security collect the parking ticket back from us, and without returning it, one cannot leave the facility..
The movie PS-1, displayed in Audi 1, at PVR Grand Galada was started late by 20 minutes and no apology was extended on the same. We were waiting, waiting and kept on waiting..
I'm done with this kind of looting/inappropriate business practices followed by Multiplexes. Until and unless I hear from PVR in 48 hours, This is going to Consumer Court.
PVR Cinemas customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
