PVR Cinemas Complaints & Reviews

Hello Sir,

0n 08th Aug my family went to PVR Cinemas along with kids.
While going we had Lays snacks for Kids. But while entraining in PVR premises, their stuff checks and asked us to drop the snacks which we brought.
This is not acceptable, since they are selling pop corn itself 200 Rs /- and 120-130ml coffee is 130 Rs /-
As per Govt, they should allow the outside food also.
I am requesting please look into this.

Pvr cinemas executive are charging about double what is the updated price for tickets at cinema hall. Ticket price is 99 for the morning show and they are asking for rs 179, asking for convenience and other charges and making double, I don't understand how?? However I hav experience with PVR many times there is no charges at the hall window while booking except the amount of ticket. This is completely unethical to ask for something which is not explainable.

PVR, city centre pandari, Raipur serving food in a worst quality container which is so smelly n Stinky, which is unbearable to even hold the container with food/snack served by them. It smell like hell. Also seems unhygienic.
This is not expected from a Brand like PVR. They should maintain their serving quality too.
Literally that container gave headache through out the movie.
And the food got waste too because of the container.

I have booked ricket for minions rise of gru movie 9pm show in pvr Phoenix Market city, Bangalore. I have forgotten my earphones in the seat B-7. If you found it please let me know.

We were 4 girls and 1 boy and we were forced to leave the movie hall in the between because of a group of boys who were behaving like hooligans. We felt unsafe and now we want the refund from PVR as we hardly watched the movie.

During interval me and my friend took our bike for having a drink outside the theatre (as the food is really expensive inside). Security saw both o[censored]s going and he refused us to enter again inside the theatre compound with the vehicle and he rudely asked us to park it anywhere else otherthan inside the parking area. Due to his behavior we had to park it outside the theatre to enter the compound. The bike is worth ₹4 Lakhs. We couldn't watch the rest of the movie wholeheartedly as we were tensed about the bike which is parked roadside at around 11pm. This incident happend in PVR kripa, trivandrum, kerala. Could check the cctv for evidence. This happend right infont of the entrance gate. We pay more money compared to other theatres for better experience but this is what we got.

It's been 3-4 times now that I am being charged extra without my consent and not even getting a bill. Also, they don't give us what we order unless we ask for it again and again. They ask for phone number and tell us that you will recieve the bill in 5min and tell us to enjoy the cinema but the bill is never sent in the message. I have also complained it at their website but never get a response. It's a cheat and violates consumer rights. Strict action should be taken.

Popcorn from PVR Lulu Mall Kochi was old and we asked for replacement. Replacement had a plastic piece and human hair in it.

I booked 3 tickets of the show ‘shemshera’ at booking counter in PVR: Centra mall, Chandigarh on 25th june
Original cost of one ticket was 150 Rs
but the attendant at counter charged me 740 for three tickets without even informing that they are selling microwave popcorns packets along with it.
Attendant was adamant about it that it is the price of tickets.and she is saying that was compalsory with ticket .i think of this as a clear case of fraud, malpractice and misinformation from their side.
kindly look into this.and refund my money as soon as possible.

Today 22july I had a movie ticked booked with Esteem Mall for shamsherra movie at 3.50 .my seat was pethetic and not working. I tried to inform but no one was responding and solving the issue. If the recliner was not working kindly don't cheat the customer.

Chennai Anna Nagar PVR icon, not providing basic tickets online. Always it disappear, it’s rights for every consumer.

I went to Pvr Promenade to watch a movie Recently but the experince was really bad, I ordered food from PVR counter 1 Large Popcorn and 1 large Pepsi and asked them to deliver at my seat hall 5 M3 as i have a back injury but i never recived the order at my seat nor notified to pickup my order moreover later after the movie when i asked them for why i did not recive my order they started making excuses and were very rude, + on the top of it there was a chiwngum on my seat which ruined my pants This has been the worst movie experince I have ever facedi haven't got my order only have my payment msg from my bank.

PVR cool is charging around 170/-fro 500 ml.. and not allowing outside cool drinks to be drunk in Cinema Hall.

outside cool drink is 40/- where as in hall it is ~200 which is also most 5 times.....

I PAid fr popcorn through UPI but your sales person updated the qr code ..she said amount wil be refunded within 24 hrs ..but i didn't get it till now

I Booked my ticket for Thor Love and Thunder for today at 4:50pm at Sathyam Cinemas, but after I booked the transaction was successful and the money was deducted but in the PVR app it showed like as if I haven't booked the ticket . So kindly update my ticket before 4:30pm or please refund my money.

I am a regular weekly visitor at PVR Cinemas from last 4 years. I am a student. Evertime i visit PVR they always add food voucher to my ticket. Whereas i keep on asking them to not to add food voucher but they say HUM NAHI DE SKTE AAP ONLINE BOOK KARO... I once talked to their manager then after that they gave me the ticket. But how many times i will have to keep waiting and keep requesting for voucher free tickets.. Dear Sir i am a Cinema lover i try everything to save money for movies...even in pandemic i used to visit PVR to support cinemas when they were in huge loss... But even after this everythime i visit pvr with excitement.. ticket receptionist guys just kill it by saying we will not give tickets. I mostly book online because of such rejection but again i pay extra bucks for no reason online booking charge. I will stop Visiting PVR if you guys will keep saying on ticket counter that TICKET NAHI MILEGA...

Hi PVR, yesterday i went to Gargi movie at PVR Velachery, Chennai, Tamilnadu on 16 July 22, 11.40am, Screen: AUDI 02, seat number is CLASSIC - B10.

I lost my Axis bank debit card ending with number xxxx 1944. may be around B9, B8, B7 as we swapped the sears with nearby audince.

I have booked a ticket for two of rupees 437 at Wednesday (13/7/22) my money got debited from my account and i get a message as bad server your amount will be credit within 24 hours, but still I didn't get any payment. Kindly do the needful.
