PVR Cinemas Complaints & Reviews

Pvr provides a special kind of theater called 'playhouse' meant for kids to watch movies, and mostly plays 'children's movies'. Designed for kids, this theater contains a slide will balls stretching across the entire aisle, and the light doesn't go off during movies.

I personally try and avoid booking tickets in a playhouse, cause the lights are kept on which diminishes the experience of theater. Unfortunately, 'dr doolittle' was only being aired in 'playhouse' theaters, so on 15/02/2020, i booked tickets for the movie 'dr. Doolittle' at pvr koramangla, bangalore. During the entire course of the movies, few of the kids in the theater screamed at their fullest volume while playing in the slide, which really hindered the other audiences (Kids and adults) from even hearing the dialogues.

On complaining to authorities about the noise in the theater, their response was that they have already mentioned in the 5th point of terms and conditions, which states - 'you may also experience noise from kids playing inside the auditorium'.

Noise from kids playing is very different from kids shrieking and throwing balls at each other, which even hit me a couple of times since i was sitting on the aisle.

Theater is supposed to be a silent zone for people to watch movies, and not to be turned into an amusement park. And if it's a hugely successful money-making model which encourages parents to buy movie tickets for their kids to go up and down the slide and eat popcorn during interval, i will request pvr to release 'children's movies' simultaneously in other theaters also.

I want to watch jojo rabbit, but sadly it's only being aired in 'playhouse' format. And after the pathetic experience, i don't think i am buying pvr playhouse tickets again.

At the box office counter the ticket issuer charged extra 100rs for food coupon and said that it was mandatory and not optional. This is unacceptable. Either the ticket issuer fooled me or you have to change the way you sell your tickets. Online charges itself cost extra so people come to box office counters to save some buck. Future repetition of such behaviour will make you loose customers.

Could you please check with concerned authorities and let me know if found.
I couldn't find phone number of the pvr cinemas mentioned above so raising complaint for the same.

we were chatting on Facebook from the last few days back, I don't know I was talking ### person, who the hired is ths ### guy.

I atteched some proof against him in the below kindly follow up.

so I request to pvr management please take some action against him, otherwise I will take action against him or (pvr cinemas) by law or police, this the very serious relevent metter.

Sriganganagar pvr branch don't credited 15days salary from 3month they give fake hopes.. I told hr staff many time but they ignore me... I am esp anand bagoria... If my salary is not credited with in 5 days.. I take a legal action against pvr... The pvr is not working properly in sriganganagar.. They don't focus on their employees salary... Poor pvr and the time pvr take for credit 4000 rs salary about 3month.. Give my resigne on 15 oct but the salary is not credited about 3 month... Kya pvr ke pass 4000 rs bhi nahi h... Employee jab join karte h jab to khate ho pvr ek brand h.. Pvr garib ho jata h jab use salary ki baat karo... Or kehte rahte h aaj ya kal me aa geyegi... 3month hogye resigne ko par pvr walo ke pass 4000 rs salary in de sakte to band kar do is pvr ko

We booked tickets for tanhaji for 8 feb 2020 in pvr pimpri (Audi 4 q 9, 10, 11, 12) we had kid of 5 year old so we prepared popcorn at home and bought them with us but pvr management didn't allowed us to bring it inside even when our kid was hungry.

We even showed then news explaining outside food is allowed in multiplex but they prepared their own flex which says outside food now allowed.

So even after govt declared to allow outside food in multiplex still pvr management pimpri is not allowing this

I booked online tickets on 8.2.2020 for 4 tickets with amount rs 787.76 and the money had deducted from my account but no seats were booked. At first since i did not get the qr scan i look at the same seats as if it was booked or not but for a few minutes it looked liks ot already has been booked. After i checked again as minutes past the seats were then marked as not booked. I want my money to be credited back to my account

Sir, would you please have a look on the rates being provided in intervals of movies. It might be affordable to you because you have money to flow, but much people don't have so should they stop watching movies or should they be left hungry, everything is fine but in limits, popcorn, samosa, business is good but not that which becomes loss for others, just visit your cinemas once, only sealed snacks are to be sold inside cinemas, still you sell open ones, just thinking about money, whatever money you earn you still can't be like mukesh ambani, a cold drink bottle just look at rates, come down to earth, i know you won't do something because money makes you dumb, but wait you will be like telecom industry one day, begging for customer wills, i don't curse anyone. I visited on 03.02.2020 to pvr cinema nashik college road, for tanaji movie 3d at 10.30 pm show.in the interval i took samosa where in it had plastic in it, i would like to request to the pvr authorities to look in the matter as it is about anyone's health. This was also brought to the notice of the duty manager incharge mr. Swekar hiwal at that time and a written complaint is also registed.

We are at pvr cinemas at curo mall jalandhar. The officials at ticket counter are forcing us to include food in tickets. They are refusing us to give us ticket without food. Also they are not giving us anything in written for the same. The matter was also taken up with the manager but he has also refused to give us tickets without food. We already had out dinner. We don't need to buy now.

Had booked ticket for audi 7, movie (Jawani janeman) 4.10 pm show 3rd feb 2020.
1st complain : along with tickets gave 2 food coupon and charged for it without informing.
2nd complain : when asked about extra charge then she took ticket along with coupon and refunded coupon money back but didn't return movie tickets. When asked where is movie ticket she said she had already returned me.
Seat k 10, 11. Thank god remembered seats to enter the hall.

I was there to watch a movie last night at 10 PM, tickets attached for reference.

I had booked the recliner hoping for added comfort. However, the buttons on my recliner were not working completely. I could Not adjust the back of my seat as only two buttons were operating. This was more of an uncomfortable experience for the premium paid by me.

I would appreciate if you can fix the seat so that the experience of your future customers isn't ruined. Also I am not sure about your customer complaints resolution score but I am hoping to hear from you on this.

Pvr cinema city center gurgaon in service boy robin misbehave with me @ my family his manager with him. This is not good for service industry. He is talk with us very rudely. My ticket already checked by sequrety boy & robin was check only my ticket again i m asking this region they said very rudely this my wish i m owner of pvr they rudely talk & fight with us. I want to su again pvr because his staff.

This is in reference to your pvr outlet at xperia mall palava dombivali... Have been at so many pvr outlets.. All are so well kept..
But the one at xperia is filthy.. You charge so much for the recliner seats and they are just not maintained a bit... My family always see movies at gold class screens hence choose recliner seats.. We recently shifted to palava hence no options except this pvr outlet.. But we have now chosen to travel all the way till vashi and watch a movie with luxury comfort at inox..
Your seats are so dirty.. Broken.. Do not recline... Entire area stinks... We literally have to think few mins before sitting on them and feel disgusted to sit for a stretch at 3 hrs...
Have complained so many times to the manager there but all in vain..

At pvr cinemas, the consumers are being charged like hell. These prices are commendably high and the reasons for this is best known to them. One side people are being encouraged to go to movie theaters and enjoy movies to curb the piracy of the movies, but the other side the extra ordinary charges of the snacks at movie theaters is killing the motive.

I have visited ur new theatre archana today for a movie i was in urge of rest room i was not allowed to use the restroom and i was in very urge as it is winter i was insulted and harsh treatment was given to me they even give some respect behavior off staff was very bad pls do consider my complain and give a rply to me or else i will stop visiting ur theatres and request and suggest all my family and friends to stop using ur branch of theatres

Forcing us to buy either a 200 rupees extra food coupon or 70/80 rupees chocolate if we buy ticket from the ticket counter. When we said we don't want the coupon he said it is compulsory and then agreed upon saying that you will have to buy a chocolate of 70 or 80 rupees instead. We didn't want that chocolate either but we wanted to watch the movie so we bought it. This is not acceptable.

Right now i am in a movie, we just had a interval and i bought a medium sized a cheese popcorn and it costed around 180 bucks which was totally not worth it.
I being an educated youth of india would be happy if a action would be taken against the pvr cinema.
How could people afford these things if a thing which costs not more than 80rupees is being sold for 180 bucks.

Hi team,
This is the 3rd time i faced this issue with pvr cinemas, eternity mall, nagpur which denies lower class tickets while their complete availability stating it is full. The issue usually happens when you reach to theatre directly at weekdays specially for last shows. The tickets went vanished from all apps as movie time reaches and you dont have any other options apart from buying it at counter.
After purchasing higher amount tickets, when we reach to screen, it was observed that all tickets at lower class is almost empty.
Request to take serious action against this customet fraud.

What a ridiculous situation that i have faced in your theater you are selling movie tockets or selling popcorn and cool drinks in theaters
It is my wish to have a combo tickets or normal but your ticket giving persons told that no combo no ticket i want to go to the the grudge 5pm on sunday that is 05/01/2019 in vijayawada andhra pradesh but who is sitting in tickets counter said that no combo no ticket
