I have been an ardent fan of pvr because of the fact that it brought a sort of revolution in multiplex industry. All these fandom went away when i tried booking a ticket at pvr, vega city mall, bengaluru yesterday (2/8/19). I went to the counter after taking a cab that costs me around rs.150 and there they said there was no subtitles for the chinese movie that i wanted to see (Name - ash is purest white). When asked what's the reason behind it they said that i was the only 'customer' and that since it was the first day of the movie, they will be no subtitles (Even though the online platforms like bookmyshow and even the offline queue at the multiplex did say there would be subtitles). I was shocked. I felt cheated. I urged them to somehow manage but they kept a blind eye for it. Disappointed, i left back for college in a cab for around 230 bucks (Metro connectivity still isn't available in that area).

Charged me more money even though i had taken jumbo popcorn 350 rs. But then too charged me 250 for Pepsi...
He didnt offer me combo..nor gave me combo...i need explanation

    regarding ticket booking

    I have booked my ticket through pvr cinemas app. The payment process starts correctly, after entering the otp the amount has been debited from my account but then the tickets were not booked yet. It's not the first time we are facing this problem. We have already made a complaint about this but then there is no necessary actions were taken so far to overcome this issue. Please kindly refund the money....

    I had an offer to get free pop-corn (L) bucket on my credit card. On july 16, 2019 i watched super30 with one of my friend. Firstly, one of the staff member refused to redeem this offer. Then i explained him about this offer. After that he scanned qr code (Rxjvh3bap) and gave me small bucket instead of large. I did not noticed this at that time because buckets were not displayed there. I thought that its a large one.
    Last saturday, i visited pvr again to watch ardas karan movie. Then i bought pop-corn again. And at that time one of the staff member who was attending me asked "which size do you want?" and then i got to know which is the large one, medium one and small one.
    This is really disgusting. This is how they are fooling your customer.

      I went to pvr rivoli, connaught place, new delhi on friday, 26-07-19.
      I approached to counter to buy the ticket. The rate was rs. 225 per seat. However, when i gave my card for the transaction, rs. 650 were deducted. I asked the executive and he said that according to company policy it is compulsory to buy 1 snickers chocolate per seat, that costs rs. 100 per piece. That means i have to pay rs. 200 extra for 2 seats! I mentioned that i didn't agree to pay for it and my consent wasn't taken before billing me for the same, to which he plainly replied that this is company policy and he cannot do anything w. R. T this. Such a practice ia not only unfair but equivalent to fraud!
      I'm planning to lodge a formal complaint as well in this regard. We cannot be blackmailed into purchasing something compulsarily in order to use our freedom to use cinemas! This is nowhere a compulsary commodity!

        I had booked tickets for a movie being showed on 28th july. I tried to cancel my ticket multiple times from mobile app, but it constantly said “error: try again later”. I called pvr customer support, so that they can cancel it for me. The support person simply redirected me to use web site instead of mobile app or asked to visit nearest branch and disconnected my call. This is heights of dissatisfaction. Why would they have to provide mobile app or customer support if they don’t really mean it. My booking reference number is wpm7rf6 and my mobile number is [protected]. Please take necessary action.

          Counter guys: taru, unprofessional and rude behavior... Abuse...

          26/july/2019 here to book ticket physical in pvr booking... Neither the self booking counter working not the agent one almost all people stand me has problem with him (Pvr cash counter guys for booking the tickets against hard cash)

          On manager call he didn't call the manager... Whole pig market never hear and no response only abuse...

          As per GO issued in Telangana ...No theatre or Shopping malls should collect parking fee...But this is not followed in many places & parking fee of 10 rupees is collected in PVR PRESTON Prime mall Gachibowli

            Since last year govt. Declared that outside foods are allowed in theatre. But pvr cinemas are violating the rule. This morning we went andheri east pvr cinemas. I had a biscuit packet with me.in security checking-in, we were asked to keep the biscuit outside as it's not allowed.
            We talked to the manager regarding this. But he's answer was govt hasn't declared yet.

            Bottom line is, if govt made a clear rule for this. Pvr cinemas should aware and obey the law.

              I’ve paid exactly 400 bucks for a caramel popcorn (Small), i mean what the hell is this? Also their screens showed no pricing for the popcorn for some reason. This is a loot. The popcorn was more expensive than my movie tickets. I’m a moviegoer and this is the first time in my life that i’ve paid a wholesome 400 just for a small popcorn size. I feel like going back to their food section and creating a ruckus about it.

                I have booked tickets at pvr cinemas galleria punjagutta and we had taken medium popcorn and pepsi which costed Rs 590. The show was at screen 7 at 1:30pm on 24th july 2019.The cinema management has cheated us and taken almost double the price.What is the point in putting holes to our pocket for just Rs 130 ticket cost.I want compensation.The movie name is Super 30.The popcorn was not fresh and they were not ready to accept.

                    Panjagutta.

                    Ordered 7up 800 ml, and we received soda 800 ml what we are supposed to think of their service? And not sure how many times this happened. Looting money for a worthless product shame on pvr. I notices the other person suggested for pepsi before purchasing by the way!

                    Higher prices, cheaper quality food service. Shameful n i never trust these again.

                      I lost my wallet in audi 3 (S3 to s5) seat number. It was brown in colour with two debit cards and one credit card. I had my pan card in there and 2500 approx cash. Its medium brown colour wallet. While intermission i was just moving around and went to the food court as well. I am trying to reach out to pvr we gave ticket to vallet parking guys and missed to collect ticket from them, this we don't have ticket number available.

                        My movie ticket cost is 138 rs and popcorn is 250... Can they describe the weight of the product and ingredients ised on the container and can't the government see that mere popcorn of small size will not cost more than 10 rs.. Please order all multiplexes to sell only branded packaged food... The only entertainment people can go to in the country is movies and government does not want families to stop that also..

                          I’m really disappointed with pvr chankyapuri cinemas and their service. First of all the exit from the hall leads to outside the mall and then we have to enter the mall again and go to the parking to collect the car. Especially old ladies had to walk out of the ac and sweat.

                          Then secondly when i tried to renter to drop the ladies to pick their car from the car parking, i was not allowed to enter. Santosh the security said that not allowed as it is exit. I agreed but requested that there is a lady and she has to get her car as she is alone, but they didn’t allow. Then varun rana who called himself the manager was called and he also didn’t allow. He even went to the extent of saying that even if the ladies are raped he will follow protocol and the policy but will not allow them inside. Then another guy and girl had to enter chankya pvr with the single lady and get her car out of the parking.

                          If this is the behaviour and attitude towards the girls and ladies security of pvr chankya, i’m really ashamnwd where is pvr headed. A manager on duty telling me that it is ok for the ladies to be raped, but will not budge from his rules and policy, i think i really respect him and will for sure wanna hire him.

                          And then we say that we are worried about the security and safety of the ladies in delhi is all #. But what am i complaining about this is delhi, who cares anyways, probably just need to get used to it. Thank you delhities for this experience. Will know what to expect when i go to a pvr next time.

                          I am highly disappointed with PVR food prices, it's literally high and they don't offer small cold-drinks individually, you can only have it with a combo, this is so mean, they have every way of looting their customer

                            Dear madam/sir
                            Greetings!

                            This is to bring to your notice these facts

                            1. That i booked 2 tickets for the movie the lion king at pvr select city walk, saket, new delhi (Imax).

                            2. That my seat number were e 15, e 16.

                            3. That the seats were very untidy with stains all over its handrest.
                            4. That i brought it to the notice of the employees but was of no use.
                            5. That this deficiency of service and the unprofessional attitude is problematic.
                            6. That it also violates section 2 r of consumer protection act 1986 and also amounts to tortious liability.

                            Kindly take necessary action and resolve my complaint as soon as possible, otherwise i will be left with no other option than to approach necessary judicial court.

                              Myself anuj from city bhilai on friday (12/07/2019) i went to pvr for watching movie super30 when i was go for purchasing ticket at counter they tell me price of per ticket as 185/- against the price show in book my show is 85/- per ticket. When i was ask that why the price is high then they told me that the price is including food combo. Then i deny to take the combo the counter boy ask me to first meet the manager then when i met the manager then the manager told me that this is compulsory to take the combo otherwise you wont get the ticket when i told him to give me this as in written so he deny

                              Please take action very soon on this...

                                  did not get privilege points on my past 3 bookings

                                  i have booked 2 movie tickets on 12th june 2019 for movie SUPER 30 online through pvr app
                                  it showed it will give me points but i did not got it
                                  please help me out in it please give me points or give me refund this s not the first time on 22nd june2019 same happened on booking of movie KABIR SINGH i did not get the points if such will happen how...

                                  I visited pvr naraina, new delhi on 05.07.2019 for an evening show at 9.00 p. M. And at the eatables counter, i ordered a pepsi and popcorn costing rs. 570/-. I tendered rs. 1, 000/- (Rs. 500 * 2) and was supposed to be refunded rs. 430/-. The attendant at the counter refunded me rs. 30 and on pointing out that i had given rs. 1, 000/-, he insisted that i had tendered rs. 600/- (Rs. 500 * 1 + rs. 100 * 1) only. Since i knew that i had handed over two rs. 500/- currency notes, i pleaded with him to refund rs. 430/- which he refused point blank. Incidentally, i happened to see a camera and asked him to check the footage to establish the veracity of my contention. I was reluctant to leave the counter and asked the attendant to call the manager. The manager came over and told me to go and watch the movie and in the meanwhile he would verify the footage and settle the issue. Since i refused to budge, both went inside and came out and the manager stated that the password for the camera was not working but nevertheless he agreed to refund rs. 430/- that was due to me.in the process, i lost 25 minutes of the show. This clearly shows that the entire staff is hand in glove and they cheat the customers by indulging in such corrupt practices.

                                    Yesterday i have visited to pvr cinemas in singapore mall lucknow. I have bought 2 tickets for the show of article 15 worth rs.138 each including cgst & sgst. That means the total amount should have been rs.276. But the staff charged me rs.476 and handed me couple of chocolates worth rs 80 as per market price along with the tickets.. She even charged me rs.40 extra on the chocolates more than the market price... Is it any new kind of tax??? And when i asked her to return them she told me that it was compulsory and i have to buy them as they are already included in the tickets... And the most important thing that it was the second time that it happened to me just in a month.
                                    I don't know why they are forcing us to buy food combo or chocolates on tickets but such kind of act can not be tolerated and it totally comes under the exploitation of consumer rights.
                                    I hope you will take actions to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

                                    From last month to now they are doing something wrong, they ask for 850 rs for couple popcorn set, before is not that much, also on counter they have led tv that are off before thay have menu there now from last month to till now thay said menu is coming soon and also they are charging much at the moment.
