Pvr places ads for 25mins before the movie starts and 25mins during interval.
Kids can barely sit through 2hrs movie and coz of the ads, its becoming a 3.5hr event.
What is the need for ads when you have paid for the ticket.

These ads will be the death of movie watching experience.
Better to watch them on netflix or amazonprime.

Shame on pvr!!!
Being an indian company, they have shown their true colors.
No class at all.

I have not been satisfied with the services. Mostly the air conditioners are not on which makes it more like an ordinary theatres. Why do ewe waste our money here when we can see the movies at roadside theatres that too on less cost. Please do something

    On 14 feb me and my husband watched gully boy at pvr sangam delhi 10:50 pm show and i ordered a combo of popcorn and 2 pepsi and he didnt gave us bill so acording to your terms and condition the bill is free if we dont get the bill but your manager was arguing nd taking side of your boy and gave us bill and later when we order paneer sandwich only one piece of paneer was there

    pvr dive water bottle - adulterated

    I took a pvr dive 500ml water bottle from their f&b counter at irrummanzil pvr, hyderabad. The water tasted, utterly poor and was like some tap water filled in a fancy bottle. I paid nearly 40rs for dis 500ml mineral water. Tried complaining to the manager but he seems not to care about the issue and he leisurely replied i ve already got 2-3 complaints and tasted it, but it's fine since it's coming from our head office. I m ain't sure where...

    The pvr cinemas is sought of looting the common indian people in a way by keeping such high rates for the snacks. For a common man like me who has chosen pvr to watch a movie just because there are no good alternate means to watch a movie, that does not enables the pvr cinemas authority to loot the people by keeping such high rates of snacks.

    It's a serious issue but we take it as a normal thing only because we have got used to it & don't consider it as a attack on the rights of the common indian man.
    "the right to food & edible at nominal & considerate prices"

    Are we not entitled to snacks to quench our hunger at cinemas at a nominal price??

      To whom it may concern

      Hello, there is an issue which has to been shared . I dont know that it will help me in getting it back or not but still may be it will save the other people’s belongings.

      On 5th of February 2019, i went to see a movie “ek ladki ko dekha” with my family in PVR PHENIOX, Alambagh, Lucknow with my family . The show was of 11pm in audi 2, which nearly ended at 01:20 am . So that happened was while leaving the theatre i forgot my phone “Iphone X” in the cup holder on the seat no V5 . And after 30-40 mins when i called back it was off . As we were last to leave the theatre, i went back again to the cinema and asked about my phone if the had found it . They said they didn’t saw any phone in the audi which was yet to get cleaned . I went back to the seat but nothing was there . I asked who came for conducting the exit . Aashish named boy was called the same . He said “ that after the audi was vacant he only came till the middle of the theatre and then went back” and apparently he never saw anything . Then i asked the manager to show me the camera recordings, then he took me too the recording room . It was evident that i was the last one leaving the theatre with a couple who left few seconds after me .
      As that particular show was having maximum 15 people there that too seated in three groups there was hardly any orders from the canteen and wasn’t any trays to be collected .
      After that when we saw aashish’s clipping .. after the departure o[censored]s ( last one to leave) he was there for almost 8.5 mins there and didn’t bought any trays out and try to ditched the camera as well . For this even manager and security guy was also amused about it . Then which again asked aashish that what was he doing there for 8.30 mins and ditched the camera then he was little shaken and changed his statement to “ i was looking for the trays underneath and behind the seats that took him that much time “ clearly he was in his cracked voice which i think is deceiving .
      I was one on the prime members there even despite of know the manager personally i couldn’t get my phone back .

      I would request you to kindly investigate internally about this matter because this is an serious issue of theft .

      I hope this email would be enough to kick start the things as i really expect a investigation if not the phone .

        Avani mall at howrah on 07.02.19 at 11.55pm
        Anjan roy issued tickets, pranabesh and fahin allowed us and in hurry we also did not checked anything and after interval sujoy bhattacharya duty manager asked one o[censored]s to leave. We told him to issue one more ticket but he refused and we have to leave the movie uri in between.
        Please arrange for free ticket of same movie after interval for us and we are ready to pay for the 5th one.
        The whole episode was very embarrassing and the duty manager mr sujoy was very rude too.

        I would love to see an invite from pvr for rest of movie and cover up all the mistakes of ticket issuer two person allowing to enter theater, person allowing on Seats in audi and above all our mistake also that we did not check the tickets properly.
        But out of Gesture pvr please let us complete our movie URI after interval.

          I'm an engineering student and a regular costumer of pvr nanded. Even after the decision by the court, the theatre doesn't allow to bring in even a piece of chocolate. On the other hand, chocolate popcorns are handed over instead of change of rs 10. The eatables inside are not at all affordable for a common man. Nowadays they have started selling combos inside the hall like train😑. Does it mean that the theatre doesn't even respect court judgement?

          P. S. Please do not just reply with request to share contact number and mail id as I've seen in all cases. I want the solution over here as it is a general complaint and not individual.
          When we went to pvr nanded, they gave a compulsory small combo on each ticket. This was very cruel to sell your combos by this marketing method. It was very unpleasant experience.

          Regardless of govt standard pricing the hyderabad PVR cinema canteen staff charging huge amount of money for soft drinks and popcorns where no one is taking any action about this. 250/- for small popcorn is very bad, please do something, its more than movie ticket please help to worn them to control them thanks for help and support common men

My money was debited in snacks counter while the time of break and they said like you will get your refund and it was 10days my not get refunded and here is the transaction details and i kept mails and i did calls regarding not responding properly. Such worst service providing by those people and the people in counter not responding properly and doesn't behave properly

            i have mailed you 3 times regarding this issues even i have called to customer care number and i am not getting proper response from you people i have mailed you from this mail [protected]@gmail.com

            kindly find the attachment of screenshot of mails i have sent mails on jan 21 2019 and and jan 25 2019 and jan 27 2019. and i even called you on jan 25 2019. you are not solving my issue not even replying my mail.

            Today we went for a movie URI in PVR mall punjagutta...this mall is very good and pleasant...but the cost of food is too high...(for example ., two samosas costs rs 100) every food item is very much cost. Middle class people can't feel satisfy with this costs. So we request u to make reduce of this costs...
            I booked 2 movie tickets through pvr app using paytm as payment mode. Amount got deducted but ticket confirmation not received. Following are the payment details.

              I made a booking of thackrey from my pvr app today for 6:20 pm show at pvr ecx chanakyapuri at 13:20 pm and the payment was deducted of rs.835.12 but my transaction got timed out and no tickets were issued. I was wsiting for the transaction to get completed and tickets to be issued. The screen said tinedbout, took me to the home screen and the amount for 2 tickets got deducted. And i had to book again from the same card again for the same movie for the same show time

                I had booked 6 tickets for uri for the 4pm show, 1/22/2019; i had given a hardcopy when i had booked but since we were 6 i had to send the tickets via softcopy as wel; when we reached movie on the day it was said that the movie was not been shown since morning due to the death of shri shivakumara swamiji, i respect and abide by that; but due to the cancellation i had to send back my freinds back and one had taken the ticket; but still i had the soft copy and the tracsactions sms and deduction copy from my account; inspite of all these it was told i will not be refunded because i didnt had the hardcopy and the way that they manager spoke is not the way it was supposed to be done; being a reputed cinemas behaving like these to the customers..

                  I have noticed that in every movie theater, outside food is not allowed and those wishing to eat must buy the edibles from the theater food courts. These food courts sell highly overpriced items. A simple packet of popcorn sold for 30 rupees is poured into a paper bucket and sold at 10 times the price. This is pure exploitation of customers. Either the prices should decrease or movie-goers should be allowed to get their own food from outside. The theaters clearly have no issue with food consumption inside the theater, but are only interested in exploiting the customers and making profits. This is a serious issue and must be solved.

                    We were watching glass at ansal plaza, pari chowk, greater noida and movie just stopped by itself and started at a point too far from the point supposed to start from even when we asked for the reason. Yet nothing was done by the authority for it. Earlier we were given with the wrong tickets of the show due to which we missed half of the show and later this incident turned out.

                      I can see many people who have raised complaints against pop corn, water bottle, tea, coffee etc, but no action taken so far. Yesterday, i went to pvr cinemas grand galada in meenambakkam and asked for two medium pop corn and 1 pepsi and i was shocked when the counter boy said 690 rs. A family can have decent dinner with that amount. I finally cut off the pepsi, and got 2 regular pop corn and paid 450 which is still un fair. Pvr is taking advantage of people who want to have nice movie experience. They are robbing people.

                      Action should be taken against pvr management

                        I booked 2 tickets for glass in pvr velachery theater in chennai. I am being asked to submit my offfical laptop in baggage counter and i don't understand this requirement. By contract i'm prohibited from submitting laptops to other people. Due to this i was not able to watch the movie. No theater has asked me to do this before. Additionally, while booking tickets through your app there is no mention of this whatsoever.

                        Upon contacting the customer care, i was informed that there will be no refunds and it says policy. If at all, they would refund it by trying to sell the tickets 20 mins after the movie has begun.

                          Today we are going to pvr flamez to watch movie cheat india. We reached there on 3:30 show was on 3:30. We rushed to the ticket window with helmet in our hand. First they don’t told us that helmets are not allowed after we bought tickets at the checking counter they don’t allow us to enter and time was already 3:40. We humbly request them to allow us cause we don’t have time to go back and put helmet back in parking because its already 20 mins passed to start the movie. There’s a person named harman who misbehaved with us there and we don’t allowed to watch movie after buying the tickets. They send us back and don’t allow us to enter the theaters. What was our fault is that we have helmet with us. Is it a crime to carry helmet to the theaters. Now i only want compensation for our money and the harassment we have to face there. I have attached tickets what we bought there with both visitor and gate foil.

                              I went pvr bilaspur to see movie tapm today morning with my friends after the payment due to some issue my ticket was provided to me very late and in hand written. Format and at the baggage counter their is no one to collect the bag and after that i face some problems during the entrance due to hand written ticket due which i became late for my show and the baggage problem i faced again after the show while collecting my bag. I have one more issue after that movie i wanted to see uri movie but they are saying that only tickets with combo are available. Tickets without combo are not available. This is so disgusting i missed my show due to this reason. Take proper actions towards it otherwise i will take further actions.

                                I have been a victim o[censored]nprofessional treatment from pvr cinemas staff recently. On 12th january, 2019 i went to pvr phoenix lucknow to watch uri: a surgical strike movie 5:00 p. M. Show. The female staff member (Muskan) selling the movie tickets was highly unprofessional, rude, used cheap tactics and forced to buy chocolates worth rs75 per ticket.

                                She refused to give us the tickets unless we purchased the food items.
                                Due to this reason it was already 5:30 p. M. And we had to opt for the 6:30 p. M. Show and even then she fought with us and continued to force us to buy food items.
                                Being a staff member of such a reputed cinema theater, she was so rude and continued to argue with customers.
                                This behaviour has been seen earlier as well but not to this extent, so i ignored it untill now. To inform them about the same a feedback was also given on the pvr app on the same day but no action was taken.
                                I'm highly disappointed by the atrocious behaviour i received.

                                  On january 11th, i had tried booking a movie ticket on pvr website via phonepe upi transfer for rs. 304.56. The payment was successful as per phonepe, however your site threw an error and the ticket wasn't booked. On contacting phonepe, they are telling me that you haven't even initiated a refund from your end for the same. This is a really pathetic booking experience served from you. Please look into this asap and reimburse the amount.

                                    Amount deducted from my bank account but tickets were not booked.

                                    Cashier said amount would be returned soon but i haven't received it yet.

                                    Movie was kgf, show time was 10:50pm on date of 8th january, 2019. Amount was paid from my sbi debit card.
