Saw movie today at Mira Road Cinemax. Was carrying chips packet and cold drink bottle with us for my daughter. The security asked us to leave these items with them only. In theatre, during the break, we had to buy the expensive Popcorn available in the theatre as our food items were taken by security. The cost of movie ticket was Rs.190 per person and the Popcorn cost was Rs.240 (which should not cost more than 40-50 Rs. outside).
This practice of not allowing outside eatables combined with exorbitant high prices of food items in theatres is anti-customer and monopolistic. Customers should be given options to carry outside food items or in-theatre products should be priced reasonably.
The government and theatre owners should look into this.
On one side you cry about piracy, and on other side, you are looting customers through such rules and practices. Why should a customer come and pay unnecessarily high prices? Think and respond.

    On 15th Mar 2017 i was trying to book a ticket with PVR Ltd with Axis Bank Credit card transaction ID is[protected] of Rs. 360/- same time Amount of Rs.360/- deducted and Ticket was not booked same time i got 120 Rs. cash back.

    Please help me to resolve this issue and return back my Payment for same issue

    I had booked a show on Wednesday 17th of May, 2017 at Mani square Mall,
    "Meri Pyaari Bindu at 5-40 pm. On reaching the venue, we were informed that the show had cancelled due to technical error. Payment will be refunded within 72 hrs. but the same is still pending.

        Booked a show for posto at pvr diamond plaza.. At 6.50 on 22.05.17...
        After waiting for 1 hr... The show was cancelled... Totally non cooperative staff.
        We had 3 tickets the counterpart of one ticket was misplaced after total 1 and a half hr wait
        Though i had the counterpart of payment through debit card.. They refused to refund 120 rs... And the staff was terribly rude...
        This was unexpected and moreover we heard the previous show had been cancelled.. They didn't bother to solve technical probs...
        The authority should be careful enough with such nonsense staff... After all business should always have a goodwill

        On 25 may 2017 i booked 2 tickets on PVR Cinemas through PVR app . Unfortunately Rs 370 was deducted from my account and i havnt got my money back. It says that you will br refunded soon but nothing happened. I hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible.

          My self Dr. Nilesh residing in Randheja Area of Gandhinagar, today on date 18/05/2017 Alien movie which has show time 8:10 pm, when I reached for movie at 8 o'clock, the person on ticket window refused to give tickets, He told movie would play if 10 person would come for the movie. I saw at ticket window, we were four people at ticket window. I have travelled 20 km for the movie and I had very bad experience at PVR, Cinemax Suman tower, sector-11, Gandhinagar.

          When I asked for complaint register, Manager has refused to give register and said no such register exist at cinemas. The language of person at ticket window was very harsh. The manger should learn about communication with customers.

              The Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission (MRTPC) has pulled up mineral water company, Himalayan Packaged Mineral Water, and PVR Cinemas for indulging in restrictive trade practices by selling mineral water at a higher price than what is available in the retail market.

              An Uttar Pradesh-based consumer filed a petition with the Commission stating that the company had been pricing 750 ml bottles of the brand at Rs. 25 in the multiplex as against the availability of 1litre bottles of the same brand at Rs. 18 in the retail market.

              The consumer, in her petition, said in the PVR multiplex, due to the non-availability of free drinking water, she had purchased a 750 ml bottle where the Maximum Retail Price (MRP) had been printed as Rs. 25. However, she said that a day earlier she had purchased a 1litre bottle of the same brand for an MRP of Rs. 18 from a local shop.

                I tried to book 3 movie tickets on 11th may through my icici debit card but received a system. So i tried to make the payment again and received the same error. Later i realised that the booking amount (Rs 149) has been deducted twice. So the total amount deducted was rs 298. After few minutes, when i checked my statement, i saw that rs 149 got credited to my account though rs 298 was deducted.
                Please refund the rest of the amount i. E rs 149 to my account as soon as possible

                  Yesterday i went to watch bahubali with my family in dt cinemas chandigarh. I booked my tickets online along with the food voucher. When i went to redeem my voucher in interval i was told that the food would reach my seat.1 hour went by and no one came. I again went to the counter and i was told same thing and whole episode continued.in end i again went to counter when 15 min we're left for the movie to be over and told them not to deliver the food. No one came and i myself went to the manager at the end of the movie and he gave me the refund. I want compensation for my harassment and their casuality. Hoping for reply soon.

                  The SEATS are pathetic ANupam Saket Select city everywhere. Do something with them make some leg space and stop us from crawling over other audiences. Bahulbaali 2 killed me inside your theatre. You charge us lot of money do something asap.

                    I visited PVR in Xperia Mall, palava city this Saturday to watch Bahubali, 9:00PM show. They do not allow you to carry outside food or snacks. During interval around 10:50PM my 5 year old son asked for something to eat, I went out to get something. I was hoping to get his favorite burger from the food court outside the theatre but the security did not allow me to go out. So I ordered a hot dog from the PVR counter but they didn't give me the hotdog instead they said that it will be dilivered to my seat in 10 mins. So I went inside and started watching the movie, after 15 mins my son started crying for food. I waited for another 10 mins but the food still did not arrive. finally I went out and asked the person on the food counter that I needed to talk to the manager. He said that the food has been sent just now and I should go back, I insisted to talk to the manager and inform him about this nonsense. The manager took his own sweet time while I was missing my movie. After 10 mins manger came charging and asked why I wanted to talk to him. I asked him why they want to starve us, if they cannot serve food then they should allow us to go outside for food. He said "so you are not complaining about the delay but want to go outside for food. Do you know how much we pay for our food counters?? We pay 2 lakh rent per month so we cannot allow customers to eat from outside." I told him that I ordered from your counter but did not get food in 30 mins, he said who told you that you will get your food in 10 mins, that's impossible. When I pointed to one of his employees he started yelling and abusing him. By that time I had already lost 20 mins of my movie and was worried about my kid . Moreover there was no point in discussing this further with the manager as he had started yelling so I went back to my seat. Somehow spent the remaining time in theatre till the movie ended and then came out feeling cheated and hungry. Wasted 1000 bucks and my families' evening.

                      Phoenix Market City Pune with booking ID WBDWFWX and combo order number 5352278. I was told on the bill and advertising that I would be getting a 600ml coke but what I received at the cinmas was just a glass of 250-300ml. Please email me if you need the pictures. Very unhappy with the way you guys advertise something and then give something else actually when you see your order. Another better gesture would be to deliver the food combos directly to the seat when you have the booking reference and the food tickets already in your system.

                        Hi,

                        I have booked the 2 tickets for Bahubali 2 @ 2:40 show on 7th May 2017 for PVR cinemas at Mall of India, Noida however that show has been cancelled by PVR and I haven't got any prior notification of the same. So when I reached there people at PVR told me that the show will not be played and you will get ur refund.
                        Now Its almost 6 days and i haven't got my refund. Today, When i called to PVR customer support, they told me to call back in the later half of the day and the whole day has passed and yet no response from their side.
                        WHAT THE HELL IT IS?
                        PVR is a Brand name but the way and behavior that they are showing to their customer is pathetic. The customer service is so bad that i can't even think about it from a brand like PVR.
                        I have paid so much of amount and booked the ticket well in advance, paid the taxes and what I got in response is that they cancelled the show without any notification.
                        Now they are showing such light response in refunding back the money.
                        I NEED MY MONEY BACK ASAP.

                          PVR CINEMAS are famous for its thrilling movie experience. And i was very satisfied with them before my experience in Ratlam (Gaytri Cinemas). It was worse experience ever. Very bad management of staff. They cut off power of Air conditioners after Interval. It was very suffocated in theatre.

                          I sincerely want to inform The PVR CINEMAS to take action on them.

                            cost of one sandwich -- 140/-
                            they have monopoly of not carry outside snacks item.Rates they are charging for food item are very high.
                            Please take some action so that they will not charge so high amount.

                              Dear sir,

                              I have booked 2tickets for today's show of movie (Bahubali 2 at 7.20 pm) at pvr cinema, eternity mall thane but as received call from them, that which tickets i have booked that cancelled because technical issue.

                              I have booked tickets in 200 and rec'd cash back of rs. 100 from paytm also means purchased tickets in just 102 after cancellation they are saying buy tickets in (170 x 2 =340) each and they will allowed me to seat on red lounge. As they promised will get refund but i have gifted these tickets to my brother and this happened with me how insulting is this.

                              Sir, please note that, i am regular customer if technical errors creates they should take care of customers first, but this time they have disappointed me.

                              Kindly look into the matter.

                                  I booked 2 tickets of guardians of galaxy (7th may, 10:55 PM ) PVR Imax, Logix city center mall. Noida. I am residing in Gurgaon and travelled 50Kms to Noida for the movie show. I reached at the movie hall @ 9:30PM and after waiting 1 hour and 20 mins. People started started entering into the movie hall at 11:00PM.

                                  PVR guys shown commercials for 30 mins and when they started the movie there is some technical issue. So they were not able to start the movie till 12:00pm.

                                  People got angry and then they told the customers that show cancelled some server issue and they will refund the ticket amoumt.

                                  There was big cue to take the refund. This is really ridiculous.

                                  There is no value on customer time and money. They just told us show cancelled and money will be refunded.

                                  This is really a harassment to watch the commercials people travelled for 50km and then came back to home.

                                  I want to really file a legal case on PVR.

                                  This is really annoying how can cinema hall manager for taking such an arbitrary decision without the customer consent.

                                  Me and my friend returned home and decided to seek an unconditional apology letter from the PVR CEO and manager for causing them "mental harassment and torture" and the money spent in travelling and wasting my valuable time to go this PVR IMAX

                                  Case against PVR for Showing commercials and cancelling the show.

                                    It was a real pathetic experience at PVR cinemas Nitesh Hub Pune. The PVR staff kept switching OFF the AC, it was unreasonably HOT inside causing breathing issues. Everytime I complained the staff switched the AC On for few minutes and again switched it Off in a short duration. This not only caused mental agony, it just spoiled the experience of watching the biggest blockbuster- Bahubali-2. In addition to this due to the unacceptable rise in temperature caused breathing problems and my 18 month baby could not sleep. Hope someone at PVR hear the plea of movie patrons. I am sure this was my Last movie at PVR cinemas, I would suggest patrons to choose a single screen theatre over PVR.

                                      I am from Bangalore our state CM has sent a notice that all multiplex screen should sell there tickets for 200 but Wat u all are doing not even one pvr has a ticket of 200 all are nearly 300 we need u to follow the rules made my government

                                      Secondly we have a PVR in MSR ELEMENTS MALL there was a issues that u will not provide AC for Kannada films Wat the hell is this guys u are allowed to introduce ur screen in KARNATAKA and u are degrading Kannada films u guys are great, u are doing this bcoz we are kind hearted right one or the other day u will face guys and I need a reply from u guys and a reson for non AC

                                      I have been waiting from many days to book tickets in Online for BB2 Conclusion, But it's very fraud and cheating.. no tickets are released except first 3 rows from the screen . Then who will interst to book tickets in Online, all tickets are sold in Black market ..

                                        PVR Cinemax at CIty centre mall, Nashik.
                                        We ordered chicken burger n veg burger but the quality was so poor even you cant byte. Food served there is too costly and no quality at all.
                                        It may harm anyone or can have food poison as it's neither fresh nor eatable.
                                        After paying so much amount people are getting worst food.
                                        Staff is also arrogant. Its pathetic.
